Matt brought up that I needed to get a horse and shotgun to go round up the rest of the guys and gals from Phinatics to which I replied I already have a horse and shotgun. That made me think of posting this thread to see how many other guys and gals we have out there that ride the 4 legged creatures. Here's a picture of my Katie.

I have 5 acres and most of it is pasture so yes, she lives here with us. She's a very sweet horse and I call her my pocket pony because she follows me everywhere and is very inquisitive about every thing I do. Guess she feels she has to be involved. We had three horses but we sold our Tennessee Walker some years ago and then 2 years ago we had to put our Thoroughbred down so Katie is all alone now. Love the parrot and always wanted one but with four cats I don't know that it would be a good idea. While it takes two to have an argument, it only takes one to walk away.Comment

I moved here some 9 years ago from a neighborhood where the houses were so close you could converse with the neighbors while you were both on your own back porch grilling so I love this area I'm in now and I'm just sorry I didn't make the move some 30 years ago. I'll post up some pictures of the other horses I have had and also the dogs and cats if you want. I love to share. I'll be going out soon so maybe later tonight I can post some more pics. While it takes two to have an argument, it only takes one to walk away.Comment

This was my Thoroughbred, her name was Hope. We got her out of rescue where she was put I'm guessing because the previous owner decided the 27,000 dollars she won in races wasn't enough money for him. She came complete with paper and the tattoo inside her lip showing she was a real Thoroughbred race horse. We ran the history on her ourselves to see how many races she won or placed in. We had to put her down about two years ago when the Lymphosarcoma she had finally got the best of her.You may only view thumbnails in this gallery. This was my Tennessee Walker who's name was Johnny Walker, what else would you name a male Tennessee Walker? Best riding horse I ever owned but he didn't care for women much and after he sent my wife sailing about 10 feet when he caught her under her chin with his head, I had to sell him.You may only view thumbnails in this gallery. We thought about getting her a new friend but my Farrier thinks she is just fine with us and the dogs keeping her company. We have two dogs who love to chase her when she runs so she turns around and chases them. While it takes two to have an argument, it only takes one to walk away.👍 1Comment
