I am hoping Connor Cook falls to the Dolphins. I wanted him last draft, which if course he decided to go back to school, and so far I have not changed my opinion of him.

He has been inconsistent. He has had some good games for sure but then in some games he doesn't even look anywhere close to a first round pick. Most mocks seem to have him being taken in the top 10. I think another team is going to take him before we select. If I had to take a guess right now I would guess that we will be picking in the 13 to 17 range.

I'm on board with your FAs. That said, there is no way we score BOTH Ogban and Lawson, tho I'd love that. And again, LB is too low and a RB in the 4th... are you planning on Miller walking?

There is nothing that can be said about any college prospect that would make me not want them over Tannehill. If someone didn't know the topic they would have thought you might be talking about Tannehill, except with Tannehill he has probably only had one good game.

I have seen Lawson mocked as a 3rd round prospect. I know things can change drastically between now and the draft in terms of where these prospects are rated. I think we have to draft at least 1 DE in the first 3 rounds and maybe 2 if we let Wake and OV walk and we don't sign another DE in free agency.

I listed Danny Trevethan as a free agent signing to be our starting ILB. I am not sure if we will be able to resign Miller. If we don't then we will need to draft another RB to pair with Ajayi.

No way in hell does Lawson last until the third round. Lawson will be a first round pick and possibly a top 15. The guy is a beast and is just as good against the run as he is against the pass. He already has 6.5 sacks and 13 TFL this year. Lawson was probably a 2/3 round pick before the season but he has elevated his game and stock.

I like Sutton a lot and he will probably be a 2/3 round guy. Very good cover skills in both man and zone, but play soft. He's a bigger CB, so would like to see him toughen up.

My #1 on the board this year is Jalen Ramsey if he comes out. I think he can be a very good shut down type corner and could also be an elite FS.

This draft is heavy on areas of need for Miami. This draft is a key to the future. CB, DE, and LB. They can't miss on this draft. No need to get cute, draft BPA at the areas of need. No reason those positions (in no particular order) should be the top three picks unless you are doubling down on one.

Agree on Lawson. Was just asking you about Ramsey in another thread.

To me this coming draft is heavy on DE and DB, but light on LB.

I don't see enough quality linebackers on this list. Trust me when I tell you more than half our issues on defense is because we have horrible linebackers. Not a legitimate starter in the group much less a star play maker.

This draft should be heavy on defense. I would use free agency to address the o-line. Here is another way we could go in the draft.

Round 1 LB Jaylon Smith - Notre Dame

Round 2 DE Carl Nassib - Penn State

Round 3 DB Will Redmond - Mississippi State

Round 4 FS Eddie Jackson - Alabama

Round 5 DE Jimmy Bean - Oklahoma State

Round 6 RB Tra Carson - Texas A&M

Round 7 QB Nate Sudfeld - Indiana

I'll take a look at these prospects. I'm really liking Jaylon Smith right now. I really wish I would be starting most of this in JANUARY, haha
