  • Our needs

We have so many its scary.

QB - I am not convinced Tannehill will ever be the answer for us. I might draft a QB in the middle or late rounds next year although we will still probably have to draft our future QB the following year since Tannehill will probably be back next year because of his contract.

OT - We have to get a better backup OT than Jason Fox, he stinks.

OG - We need at least one more OG and probably 2.

DE - We need to draft a young stud DE who can set the edge against the run and rush the passer. Wake is probably done and OV has completely regressed. Shelby and Fede are not front line players they are rotational players. So we actually need 2 of them.

LB - We need to upgrade this unit. We need more speed and playmaking ability. MLB is our most pressing need of the 3 LB positions. Hopefully Jordan returns next year to play the SAM LB position which would help a lot.

DB - Grimes might be close to being done. So we really need 2 quality corners.

FS - I am not impressed with Aikens or Thomas.

If Ross were to sell the team fans across the world would celebrate this news almost as if the Dolphins won the Super Bowl. It is that important to real Dolphins fans that he sell the team that there would literally be Miami Dolphins parties celebrating the hope of finally having a team in the near future that can compete.

We all knew at the beginning of the year, weak points were OL, LB, DB....

This team had many holes to fill and by the looks still does...

We don't have LB'ers, we have Dolphin players that play that position, but none are that great to take us to the next level of play...

Secondary, we have one player, maybe two on a good day, but the rest couldn't make a ST position on other teams...oh yea, I'm still in favor of getting rid of the bum Grimes and his wife....

We over paid Pouncey, now we have a middle of the road center that has cost this team two safeties...

No doubt the Campbell honeymoon is over, so we'll need to address the coaching staff as well.....

          Our needs in order:
          1. LB, the defense needs a stud in the middle.
          2. Corners - at least 2.
          3. Safety
          4. OL - Left Tackle
          5. QB

            3. LB
            4. OL
            5. A freaking FULLBACK!!!!!

With the losses of Wake and Delmas, DE and Free Safety are my top priorities either via FA or the draft. FS is arguably what cost us several games this season, including the Bills game. Thomas and Aikens just outright suck.

The lack of healthy Tackles have killed us this season as much as poor Guard play, but we should be able to address those positions outside the first 2 rounds in the draft as well unless they happen to be the BPA - if they go that route again.

I disagree with you on Thomas, he has played well and according to PFF is the 26th ranked safety in the league with Jones being ranked 5. How did Thomas cost us the Bills game? Watkins killed Grimes and the D line and LB's couldn't stop the run. I actually think Jones and Thomas are a good combo and I think Thomas will just get better as he plays.

Personally I think CB, DE and LB are our biggest needs. Grimes looks old, and Taylor shouldn't be starting. Vernon is average at best and unless McCain can show something we have no starting caliber DE on the roster. Misi and Jenkins are solid, but neither are playmakers and at least one needs to be upgraded. MLB MUST be addressed either in FA or in the draft. I would say sign a FA and draft someone to develop.

They need depth on the O line and a starting LG but Douglas could be that guy. They must get a better swing tackle or convert Turner back to a tackle.

Not quite sure why anyone believes we need a Fullback when we pass EVERYTIME we're facing a short-yardage situation, seems like a waste of a roster spot to me!!!

Thomas has been here for years and hasn't done much. Everytime I watch him, he looks lost. He took an absolutely terrible angle on the long McCoy TD against the bills. His coverage and ball-hawking are nowhere near as good as Delmas' was. Against the Pats, he missed what should have been a routine tackle against Gronk, who scored on the play. At least he isn't Aikens bad, but they both haven't showed much to be excited about.

Realistically, your own FSU prospect, Jalen Ramsey, may end up being our #1 overall pick for us. Thoughts on him?

I am not putting him on Delmas's level hell when healthy Delmas has been one of the top FS's in the league. Thomas is in his third year. Miami poached him from SF's practice squad in 2013. This is his first shot at starting, so he is going to make mistakes, but I think he has played well for the most part. Not sure he is a play maker, but I think he can be solid and I am more concerned about CB, DE, LB, and OL depth than I an=m safety with the way he has played.

Ramsey, never heard of the guy...LOL Jalen is all that and a bag of chips. He is my #1 prospect right now, and not sure that changes. He has quick twitches, fluid hips, fast, long arms, and a knack for the ball, what more do you want from a DB. Yes I said DB not CB. I think he is a very good CB, but would be an elite FS. He is very physical and plays with that ****iness you need from a corner. If he gets beat on a play he forgets about it and makes a play the next time. The guys has amazing instincts and is very rarely in the wrong position. I think he's a top 5 pick in the draft so don't think he will be there win Miami picks.

I am really starting to get a man crush on Shaq Lawson and I think he could be there when Miami picks.

I'd be ecstatic to get Shaq Lawson... hell, I'd take that Clemson defense over ours now.
