Jay Ajayi could make a tremendous impact on the season and you have to get him on the field. Which means someone has to go, either Jonas Gray or Damien Williams. For me I cut Williams. I have not seen anything out of this guy all season.

SO who would you cut to make room for Jay Ajayi?

We've never had backs that could stay healthy since Ricky and Ronnie were here. Ajayi is unproven as of yet and Miller has always had shoulder concerns. I'd keep all the backs for now.
For me, I'd cut TE, Brandon Williams. With Cameron, Sims, and Stoneburner, we don't need a 4th TE on the roster. We can always move Mitchell around if something were to occur where we needed an extra blocker if need be.

Anyway hoping Ajayi gets to play against the Bills. He's ready.
''It's been eight weeks. I've taken a lot of mental reps. I'm ready to get out there and start playing," said Ajayi, who said his ribs healed after three weeks. "If I'm able to start my NFL career against the Bills that will be exciting for me.''

According to Andrew Abramson, the Dolphins are not "SURE" they're ready to activate Ajayi. Mango reports no decision has been made. Ajayi is eligible to play this week and has been practicing for weeks. Could this be a last min surprise to throw Rex off?

The Dolphins have at least one more week before making a roster decision on Jay Ajayi (IR designated to return) so no decision right now.

I am not really too worried about finding a non-contributer on this roster to cut for an impact player. Any or all of the above. What I would like to see is some 2 TE, maybe a blocking back, Miller and Ajayi, we are going to run the ball down your throat game plans. You might be surprised how much better Tannehill and the defense looks when you can do this!

if they didn't activate ajayi i would have been seriously questioning dan on his coaching strategies, because having ajayi eligible makes rex have to game plan on some one who has little nlf film on.
when he goes on the field puts questions in the defense ,is he going to get the ball or is he going to block or get a pass! that gives miami an advantage of some sort!

Happy to have Ajayi active. NOW - if we actually play him. lol...
Don't get cutting Brenner when we have 4 TEs on the roster... of course, TE is Dan's baby.
Still, I thought Brenner played reasonably well a few years ago at LG in relief of Cogs. Won't be surprised to see Brenner go elsewhere and start. lol...
