  • ajaya question

I was wondering when ajaya will be eligible to play ,.
as I take it he's practicing now .
gray and williams just don't do it,they just don't have that killer running ,but of coarse they aren't on the starters list too.
miami needs a 2nd runner that can punish with yrds. and physicality when miller is out and I think ajaya might be that guy.
plus if he can play against NE,belecheat won't have that much film of him running in miami and could suprise the NE defense like moreno did!!!

I think he can come back for or after the Jills game. It's one of the two.

I think Ajayi will be eligible to play after week 8 so he won't be eligible to play until the Bills game.

You're right FTL Jay Ajayi can play the Jills game.

Dolphins rookie RB Jaya Ajayi (ribs, I.R.-designated for return) resumed practicing on Wednesday.
Ajayi isn't eligible to return to game action until Week 9 against the Bills, but he's at or near 100 percent already after merely suffering a cracked rib in the preseason. The Dolphins' current tailback depth chart reads Lamar Miller, Jonas Gray, Damien Williams. Ajayi could push for Miller's backup job. Oct 21 - 12:10 PM

Dolphins rookie RB Jay Ajayi (ribs, I.R.) said he’s fully healthy.
Ajayi is expected to be activated Week 9 when first eligible. He’s looked good in practice and in the mix for the No. 2 role behind Lamar Miller. It’s possible one of Jonas Gray/Damien Williams is cut when he returns. Ajayi had 32 TDs at Boise State last year and averaged 5.7 YPC (16 carries) in the preseason. Oct 24 - 6:18 PM

Gurley sounds good right now.... But Parker might be the better pick...

We never had the chance to draft Gurley.

Think we stayed put because with the injury the consensus was that Gurley would drop much lower than he did.

Imagine Derrick Henry and Miller as the Dolphins back field.. RT wouldn't have to throw it anymore..

Doubt we get a chance to draft Henry with the 32nd pick in the draft 😎

FWIW - PBP reported that Ajayi wouldn't play until week 10 - against the Eagles.
