  • Will Opposing Teams Adapt To Dan's New Schemes?

It's only been two games but, Campbell has installed new schemes for Miami where the players can block, tackle, throw, catch, and run. Will future opposing teams be able to adapt to this new "gimmick" for the Dolphins?

More importantly, will our players remember to do these things for FOUR quarters?

Patriots got 2 games to scout our "Gimick". It'll be a good test come Thursday!
Just frolic and live in the now like Dolphins and Man's best friend.

They decided they didn't like Dan Campbell anymore.... So they quit....

Maybe they already started resting starters?

Lot of backups got playing time in the second half

The second half they put a lot of subs in especially on defense trying to rest guys for Thursday. On offense they went vanilla, my guess is to give less tape for NE to look at.

One huge difference in the halves was that Miller never took a snap after the half and Williams and Gray both suck. Pretty sure Matthews and Landry both sat the second half also. They had everyone BUT Landry returning punts even tried Grimes there.
While it takes two to have an argument, it only takes one to walk away.

Was at the game today. This is exactly right. I also think Campbell was very smartly resting key starters so they would be fresher than the Pats in 4 days. A luxury the Dolphins earned for themselves with the most dominant half of football I have ever seen at any level. At one point we had more touchdowns than they had yards! I also felt like the team was trying to determine who will be the odd RB out when Ajayi gets activated, again a luxury they earned. Great Game.

tannehill has absolutely no presence of pressure in the pocket!
he stands there and then crumbles when the d player gets to him.
on one of the watts sacks, all he had to do it move laterally and watts would have missed him ,but nope he just stands there and takes the sack and he is such an athletic QB!
when is lazor or anyone teach him to step laterally at the perfect time and the rusher goes right by.

backups in and d backs giving a big cushion, but even with the cushion taylor beaten for a td.
2nd half sloppy, have to play 60 min to beat the pats!!!!!!!

no major injuries ,but it looked like landry had a ever so slight limp.

Really? You going to slam Tannehill after that career game today? That is soooooo wrong.

If someone is going to figure us out it will be Belichek and the Patriots. All the cheating aside, no one prepares and games plan better than NE. I hate them. I am so curious to see what happens.

I don't know that anyone is going to "figure us out". We are just playing with energy focus and a commitment to playing a physical style of football. Football games are won and lost in the trenches for the most part. The Dolphins have dominated the trenches on both sides of the line of scrimmage the past couple of weeks after being dominated in the trenches the first four weeks. Thats how you win in the NFL.
