I would home that Vernon's appeal overturns that fine. He was clearly still being pulled by the OT, which affected his body position. What was he supposed to do with Taylor Lewan pulling his arm?

It's weird to me that with all the footage available that they still fined him. My take on this is that 1 - they thought he could have pulled up or done more to avoid hitting Mariota low, and that 2 - they are sending a message to the league. Remember, we still have to play the NFL's team (pats).

If we had done that to Brady, they would ejected everyone one on our defense who was within 2 yards of Brady... probably after Brady used his ''Rodger'' mic in his helmet to call the commish and whine.
