An unmentioned plus having Campbell as HC

I have watched the Dolphins for most of my life. I cannot remember a time when we featured our TE. We had some that had decent games during the Marino years. And there was Mandich back in the 70s. But with Campbell being the HC do you think we might finally make the TE a bigger part of our offense?

On a side note, I think the TE position has been one of our best assets and we have been getting the most out of what we have had over the tenure of Coach Campbell.

But Miami and Campbell developed him into a desired commodity.

Leading the league???

Clay has 22 catches for 262 yards and 2 TDs. He's not leading anything.

Witten leads the leagues in catches by a TE. Gronk leads in Yards by a TE, and Tyler Eifert leads in TDs and 1st downs by a TE...

I'm sure Clay will be leading all TEs with missed playing time and inconsistency by seasons end though.

If you're talking Fantasy Football Clay is ranked 5th amongst ALL tight ends. Jordan Cameron is ranked 28th and Stoneburner is ranked 30th. Clay will more than likely see a rise in production once his new QB gets used to his new job. The Dolphins did try and re-sign Clay though. How much real effort they put forth in doing so I do not know.

Sims and Cameron are on a Concussion count so with that in mind we should use them wisely like as red zone targets. Hate to be gingerly but with the awareness of such head injuries and the fact that the TE is a prime target up the middle wher he is vulnerable to such devastation. Understand this is football and next man up but I'm not counting on anyone past these 2.
