According to overthecap.com the Dolphins are about $14 million under the projected salary cap for next year. Looking at the players salaries and how much we would save by releasing them here is who I feel like will be gone next year.
DE Cameron Wake - Cap number $9.8M - Cap savings of $8.4M - Dead money $1.4M
DB Brent Grimes - Cap number $9.5M - Cap savings $6.5M - Dead money $3M
TE Jordan Cameron - Cap number $9.5M - Cap savings $7.5M - Dead money $2M
WR Greg Jennings - Cap number $5.5M - Cap savings $4M - Dead money $1.5M
OT Jason Fox - Cap number $1.54M - Cap savings $1.38M - Dead money $162K
LS John Denney - Cap number $1.215M - Cap savings $1.115M - Dead money $100K
Thats over $28 million in savings in addition to the $14 million we are already under next years cap that will leave us about $42 million to spend in free agency and the draft so if we are smart we should be able to fill a lot of the needs we have.
