Ummm..........Does this mean that the Dolphins still haven't fired Coyle but are calling every single defensive coordinator that has ever coached before to see if they would be interested in the job, IF they were to fire Coyle? FIRE THE IDIOT THEN START MAKING CALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, i'm not sure if they're offering up the DC job or if they're just looking to bring in a consultant, as they just did with Al Saunders...IMO, this whole consulting BS just strikes me as another method of Half-Measures, fire Coyle's ass and hire a competent DC (from within or without, who cares?!), or hell i'd even settle for another incompetent guy just for something new at this point...

I can see Mike Smith in the running for DC. He has a pedigree. Schiano, not so much...

I hated Schiano when he was with the Bucs..Not sold on Mike Smith either, but after Coyle it would almost seem like they could bring in anybody and it would be a total upgrade!
