Don't play with me Shane, I'm too fragile at this point.
While it takes two to have an argument, it only takes one to walk away.

I know this is what is necessary but honestly it's bitter sweet for me. I am so tired of changing staffs, schemes, players, and seemingly never getting better results. I know Philbin had to go, but if Coyle isn't shown the door, and something changes with the oline play and offensive play calling it won't matter. Once again Dolphins are in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Very hard to be a fan of this team.

And Campbell as the interin HC? They need to bring in real coaches. It needs to start with Schwartz replacing Coyle.

OK, take this for what it's worth, but Simon Clancy is saying the promotion of Campbel could mean Coyle and Lazor were fired as well.

I think Schwartz needs to replace Coyle too, after the season though. I wouldn't take this job so why would he? If they hire him after the season it is more permanent. I would give him a 5 year contract, if not longer.

Very curious if Philbin was let go because he refused to fire his staff?

The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero reports Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is "more inclined" to fire DC Kevin Coyle than coach Joe Philbin.
Philbin is the real issue in Miami, but the reality is the Dolphins have no one on the coaching staff worthy of promotion, even on an interim basis. Coyle is reportedly unpopular in the locker room, and firing him could at least buy Philbin some slack. Salguero reports Philbin does not believe any staff changes are necessary right now, but faced with losing his job or firing Coyle, he may change his tune. Ross and Philbin are scheduled to meet Monday afternoon.
So Ross wanted Philbin to fire Coyles and Philbin refused, so he got the axe himself. Good riddance. Hope Coyles is gone as well.

Shocked by the naming of Campbell as the interim HC. Crazy...

Must be a lot more on their way out then if they went that low on the coaching staff...
