Could it be we actually developed a player who turned out to be a steal in the draft? Its only 3 games and thats a small sample size but Matthews is currently 12th in receiving yards at 262 and has 3 receiving TD's, only Julio Jones, Larry Fitzgerald and Travis Benjamin have more.

Of course its our luck that he will be a free agent next year. I know we drafted Parker but can we afford to let our best WR leave in free agency? If he keeps having this kind of season I hope we keep him and either let Jennings go or trade Stills next year.

Matthews has never lacked talent, i've been a fan since i first saw him; he's produced at every little opportunity since he stepped onto the field for us..From what i understand he's been a bit lazy, late for meetings etc. & that has kept him firmly entrenched in Clueless Joes Doghouse - I truly believe if it wasn't for injuries forcing Queasy to play Matthews & everybody witnessing that the kids a player, he'd either be gone or back on the bench..The kid can play!

He should have been playing over Hartline most of last season. Snap for snap, he was 3 times as effective and he and Thill have good chemistry.
