  • Stop with the Mangini talk already

Guys I see over and over posts that you can "bank" on the next head coach being Mangini because of the relationships with Ross. I am telling you there is no way. Ross needs a ringer, a home run. And Mangini is a failure as a Head Coach which is why no one else has picked him up. Just because they have a relationship doesn't mean a thing. Look for him to get as big a name as possible because he knows he is killing his fan base. He is a businessman and he knows what that means. My only hope is we get an honest to God HEAD coach. I am tired of these people running our team who have never run a team before. No more Assistants. At the very least they have to be a star college head coach, but really it needs to be an NFL Head Coach. Cowher, Dungy, etc.
    Some one...God please..

I am pulling for Shanahan, but I just think there is too much behind the scenes that Mangini will be the guy. Cowher, Dungy, and Gruden...hang it up they are not coming back to coaching.

If they hire Mangini I will burn ALL my Dolphins merchandise in effigy and take up golf or something that I haven't really given a full college try. I will not support and/or follow a Mangini ran Miami Dolphins team, plain and simple. The Dolphins will always be my favorite team but I REFUSE to waste and more money or time into a team that is hell bent on being mediocre, and that is exactly what they would be if they were to hire Mangini. The FANS want and deserve more than what this organization has put out on that field for the past 15 years!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I know is this team is killing me. Usually I'm depressed on Monday after a loss but over it by Tuesday. Here it is Wednesday morning and I'm still depressed. It's getting harder to bounce back.

Ross hired Tannenbaum to hire the next guy and will stay out of the way. By getting too involved he fauked it up for the team. I think Tannenbaum turns around and hires Pagano.

How does everyone feel about Jim Mora, Jr? He did a good job with Atlanta until he got pushed out for making a joke that he would consider the University of Washington job. He took over UCLA in 2012 and turned that program around.

I like Mora, but from things I hear not sure he wants to come back to the NFL. Besides, he's gonna ride Rosen for a few years and see if that gets him a shot at the NC.

I think Sean Payton would be a good hire if he becomes available.

I saw this mentioned somewhere else but what about Mike Smith? He sure turned the Falcons around in a hurry. Mike Shannahan might be a good choice as well. He had a lot of success in Denver and no one seems to be able to win in DC.
                    Can we sign this guy?

I am not a huge Mike Smith fan. He is a 3 yards and a cloud of dust type of guy. I'd take him as a DC though.

You don't think he would be willing to give the offensive reins to Lazor and he focus on getting the defense right? A lot of head coaches seem to do better during their second stint as HC.
