Philbin is a .500 coach, simple as that

Mr Mediocrity has NO fire or emotion himself, which isn't really a BAD thing, but he also has a habit of getting rid of players who DO! Win or Lose, I want to at least see a team TRY their best! I have only seen this team give 100% twice during Philbin...
HE didn't start the fire EITHER time!

He missed most of practices the week before we defeated the San Diego Chargers 37-0 last year, and he was "preoccupied" with Jonathan Martin walking out the day after we lost to the Pats, and 3 days before we beat the Bungles with a safety in OT///

Actually, after yesterdays debacle against the lowly Jags he's less than a .500 coach! Philbin unfortunately is what he is & as long as he's at the helm, we are what we are....

Couldn't agree more....

I predicted a loss in the Week#2 Jacksonville thread, it's all about the predictability of Philbin. We have the Jills coming up next, I knew Philbin would overlook Jacksonville and dump his eggs on the Jills game.
This is exactly who Philbin is, he can't motivate game to game, he can only get these guys motivated every few weeks. Philbin is just not cut out to be a HC in the NFL, that's ok, some people aren't meant to lead. Look at Wade Phillips, who by the way I wanted as D-cord, Wade is one of the top D-Cord in the NFL, but couldn't HC to save his life. Just the way it is.....

Example of the poor leadership on this team, Coyle, now how Coyle was able to keep his job after the terrible performance week after week from our D. Yet there is Philbin backing a failure....

As far as coaching on this team, there is not ONE coach I would keep on this team. Lazor couldn't script a game for our local high school. Coyle could find a blitz he liked to save his life....and don't forget the PERFECT game Gino had against us.

Now I know we have problems, we have Pouncey who is just average at best that we overpaid but the rest of this OL wouldn't be backups on another OL in the NFL. Our D, we have NO MLB, none, nada no one....we can't tackle, the same as last year, you come play with the Dolphins and you can't tackle any more. How does this happen, what are they being taught? This has to fall squarely on Coyle. I believe his whole system is a joke, I have seen new players come in and they look as bad as the players we just dumped....Look at Or****, the guy couldn't stop a snail last year, now he moves to another team and plays DE and did a great job. Take Suh, what the hell is up, you think he just turned into a sponge? No he became a Miami Dolphin, and then went to shyt.....This has to fall on the coaches....

What we put on the field the last two weeks has been a joke, this team will never be any more than what it is with the coaches we have, plain and simple fact.....
