  • Trade with Cowboys

Now that they are going to be without Romo and Bryant for the next couple of months. I would offer them Matt Moore and Kenny Stills. Those are players who could help them this year since they are in win now mode. In Exchange I would want La'el Collins since he would help solidify our o-line and he is not a starter for them. He was basically a luxury pick up so this would be an opportunity to cash in that chip if they want to win this year and still be a viable contender when Romo and Bryant return.

We can just pickup a free agent QB to be our backup. I know there is not much out there but its not like we are going anywhere this year anyway. Stills is not going to make an impact with the Dolphins. Landry and Mathews have been balling and Jennings is a decent backup and Parker is going to be integrated into the offense.

Other than Landry, we don't have anything the Cowboys would want.

I agree with Alpha, except they may want Parker, but they wouldn't want Moore, he is no better (and probably worse) than Weeden.

I think you'd have to keep Moore cause if Albert is out for a significant time, Tanny is going to be on his back a lot in the coming weeks and we need a good QB backup. We have no one to replace Moore. At this point I can deal with losing Stills. Hasn't shown anything yet and we can be truthful that there won't be any deep balls completed probably this year. Don't think we've had one yet.

Lol. Why on earth would they want Matt Moore? Matt Moore sucks worse than Weeden. If I'm the Cowboys I'm just rolling with Weeden and maybe looking for a receiver, in fact if I am the Cowboys I'd be calling Ray Rice up and plugging him in behind that offensive line, run the ball to win and roll with a game manager like Weeden and play good D.

I would make a call and take a feeler on Moore. He's proven to be solid back up and winner when coming in for relief. What the phins would get is another story.

Cowboys are in win now mode, so they may give up more than what the market is for him.

I wonder if they would give Miami a bag of Doritos for Philbin.......a small bag.

This is the PERFECT example of why players should always play their best. A player may not be a starter or may be down the depth chart but what they put on film IS seen by the rest of the NFL in case this type of situation occurs. If Moore or that other QB would have played as well as Cassell, that 5th rounder or an O-lineman could've been ours.

People may be underestimating Weedon. The guy was a 1st round draft pick that has had a different offensive coordinator every single season of his career. I can't even begin to imagine how hard that would be for a quarterback. He might be a temporary fix but he also might surprise the heck out of a lot of people. Time will tell................

I was just hoping the Cowboys would be thinking of Matt Moore as the so called best backup QB in the NFL even though we Dolfans know better. He has been living on his reputation based on the 2nd half of the 2011 season when he had Brandon Marshall to throw to, Reggie Bush to hand off to and an o-line that actually was not that bad.

As stated Moore is getting payed for his 6-3 performance of 4 years ago. Sad!

Not sure why people are down on Stills... go back and rewatch the past 2 games. Stills looks good on tape, they're just not using him enough. (Sound familiar???) He's only had a handful of plays and about 3 targets per game.

Against the Jags, the first screen pass they threw to Stills early in the game, Tannehill was late on the throw. That was one of only two throws that went his way the whole game. He's just not getting enough plays. He is also is getting open when he's supposed to. Watch the defenses - they are respecting him when he goes deep and rolling coverage his way which forces Tannehill to either take a shot or find another option.

Stills is looks explosive and fast though. Missing most of camp with hammy and calf injuries was a set back. I think we'll see more plays involving him as the season progresses.

We got the best receiving corp in the NFL and a decent QB but the Oline is affecting everyone.

The absence of Stills and Parker is difficult to watch. I was never a fan of Wallace and Hartline. But to replace them with nothing is a downgrade. I am confident that if Stills got all of Wallace's targets and Parker got all of Hartline's this would be a huge upgrade. But if you don't throw to them it won't help!
