  • We're not a playoff team

I don't see anything different from last year. The o-line stinks and we have no running game. Tannehill is inconsistent and he does not perform in the 4th quarter. The defense is overrated can't stop the run and consistently lets us down when the game is on the line.

Its going to be another frustrating season of ups and downs and wasted opportunities. We're looking at 7-9 or 8-8. I hate to say it but after what I have seen over the first 2 weeks of the season I don't see any improvement over last year.

No we can't be that lucky...We will be somewhere between 7-9 and 9-7 and pick 12-16 as always...

Well, if by play-offs you mean while the Fins play my T,V, will be off..i beg to differ!

This team is bad; should've lost to a not very good Skins team & was beaten pretty handily by the lowly Jags (IMO, though the score was tied at 20 & we only lost by 3, it wasn't that close) The ineptitude of this coaching staff & complete waste of some pretty damn good talent never ceases to amaze me....

You got that right! More than likely, just good enough to pick middle of the pack again AND to save the crappy coaching staff AGAIN!!!

Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way but I'm not putting this on Tannehill this time. Was he perfect?? Hell no, but when you can put 20 points on the board against a so so team like the Jags, you would expect to win the game with even an average defense. Our defense sucks and that goes directly on Coyle's shoulders. He has to be the worst DC we've ever had. He should have stuck to being a secondary coach and even at that he ain't so great. Our secondary is proof of that.
While it takes two to have an argument, it only takes one to walk away.

I don't put it on Tannehill at all, but it dis show that when is comes down to it and he needs to put the team on his shoulders and carry them he can't do it on a consistent basis. Miami can win with him, but I don't believe we has the makeup to be an elite type QB.

Two things that stuck out to me at the end of the game with all the marbles on the line.

                1. Yes, Fox was badly beaten by Odrick, but it's not like Odrick is a speed rusher. Tannehill never felt the rush, and he's go to know the situation. The ball has to come out back there. Odrick got to him in 3 seconds, Tannehill must know at 2 second down by the goal line the ball has got to come out, or he has to be on the move...poor game and pocket awareness.

                2. When it was third and long and they needed to move the ball to get in FG range. Landry was in the slot to his left and didn't have anyone within 15 yards of him. He could have easily gotten close to a first down, but even if not close to mid field and out of bounds and leave a good shot at a hail Mary. Tannehill never looked at him...How the effffffff does he not look at his best player? How...those two plays in my mind were completely unacceptable for an NFL QB.

No argument at all there Shane, I'm mostly pissed about comments over in the other group where some guys are having a Tannehill roast. I'm sorry but there are a dozen different problems I have with yesterdays game that I would say contributed "MORE" to the loss than Tanny did. Hell, I'll even go so far to say that without Tanny yesterday we would have been destroyed by the lowly Jags.

Unfortunately for us there seems to be an endless list of 'things to fix' and while Tannehill shouldn't be our main concern, his play should definitely be a concern..I agree 100% with 'Nole; Tannehill just doesn't seem to possess the 'IT' factor and when we need him the most is when he shows up the least..as bad as the whole team played there were numerous chances for him to put this team on his back and win it despite how badly the team played up to that point, but he just couldn't come through..We've seen this happen time & time again to think it was a fluke...
