  • Cam Wake questionable today

Apparently he tweaked a hammy in practice. Reshad Jones is also questionable. Simms out.

The Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars released their final injury report of the week. The Dolphins included several key contributors on the list, including All Pro defensive end Cameron Wake and tight end Dion Sims.

Yeah but it could be worse. Most of these are short term. We are lucky that w can probable rest all of these guys and still win today. When we host Buffalo we could have them all back. Fortunately we are not looking at season ending injuries to any of our key players.

Hope they're short term and I'd rather guys miss some time now in an "easy" game as opposed to the final 6 games or so when injuries have killed our seasons the past couple years.

We still win! Younger guys have to step up. We would be sitting pretty if Dion Jordan wasn't such a douche.

Agree... at least Jenkins, Shelby, and Fede have lessened the loss of DJ. Hoping for a big day from those 3 given Wake and OV being beat up.

McCain has been practicing at DE all week. I wonder if he got in Philbins dog house as I thought he was going to take over Jordans role as the Jack.

                Good news!!

JACKSONVILLE -- The Dolphins expect both Reshad Jones and Cameron Wake to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars today -- barring an unexpected setback to their hamstring injuries in pregame warmups. Both players were listed as questionable for today's game. So...

So availability is not likely to be the issue.
The issue seems to be how long either play will be able to play. The team hopes it can relieve both players and not extend them so as to minimize the chances of aggravating their injuries.
That means Michael Thomas should get some snaps at strong safety.
And, obviously, Terrence Fede and other subs will get plays for Wake.

That is good news. Glad they'll be sharing snaps as well. They'll be able to help the younger guys who are relieving them.
