  • Buffalo Bills

I think as Dolphins fans we really need to keep a close eye on these Buffalo Bills. Before the season people were talking about their defense, and only their defense. Experts pretty much wrote them off because of their quarterback controversy. Well, they don't seem to have a controversy anymore, their defense looks better than even some predicted and to top it off, their schedule doesn't look too shabby either. If the Bills beat the Patriots it could be smooth sailing for this Bills team. At first I wanted them to destroy the Patriots, because they are the Patriots. Now, I am not really sure that I want them to win because of their schedule and how well they played in week one. If they play well against another formidable opponent in week two, the Dolphins could have their hands full.

What are your thoughts about the Bills and our chances of beating them in Week 3 ?

I've been saying for a couple weeks now that they are a team to be concerned about. I even stated they scare me more than the Pats do. I saw them in week 3 pre season and while I know it was only a pre season game, they are a very deep team. I saw no drop off when their 2nd and 3rd stringers were in in fact I was actually impressed with all three QB's that I watched. As Much as I don't care for Ryan, he took a much weaker Jet team to the AFC championship game two years running.

I don't know how to call it for week three except to say IF we do win, we're going to have to earn it.
While it takes two to have an argument, it only takes one to walk away.

IMO the Bills have the best roster in the NFL. I wouldn't be shocked one bit if the Bills are representing the AFC in the Super Bowl.

Make no mistake about about it. When I worry about our opponents I regard the Bills with just as much fear as the Pats. They are good and their confidence is through the roof.

I believe the Bills are the team to beat in the AFC East right now. Hopefully this coaching staff can get the most out of the talent they have on their roster like the Bills coaches are doing. Tannehill can't make errand throws against the Bills like he did against the Redskins because the Bills DB's will not be dropping passes thrown right to them, they will be taking it to the house. The name of this game is to NOT turn the ball over.

We should all be scared of the Bills right now, and doubly so if they beat the Pats this week. Love him or hate hime, Ryan brings real "LEADERship" to that team. They are already taliking smack to the Pats and it has been a long time since the Bills had any swagger. From what i hear the whole region is fired up. Lets face it, that kind of emotion and focus is powerful stuff......particularly in a brutal NFL where i imagine it takes will power just to get out of bed Monday mornings in season (ever see North Dallas Forty and Nick Nolte?)
.....almost as powerful as watching your game manager coach read from cue cards in the locker room.....guys run through brick walls for that! Hiring Rex by the Bills, with his style, his dangerousness in the AFC East, and him stepping into that D.......was pure brilliance......almost as inspiring as settling for your 3rd choice OC.

Rex could never get enough talent on both sides of the ball in NY and as much talent as he had in the defensive backfield his front seven in NY didn't compare to the front seven in Buffalo. Now Rex has a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball too. I can't stand Rex but I think if I was a player I would love to play for him. Like you said those guys will run through brick walls for him, now add talent to that mix...they could be scary good.

When I saw the writing on the wall in NY I was really hoping that Ross would fire Philbin and go after Rex. I know he drove us crazy as Dolphins fans with his mouth and other stuff but if he were the Dolphins head coach I'm sure we would love it. I know I would have loved having him in Miami. I love defensive minded coaches and he is one of the best in the business. He brings out the best out of his players in a totally different way then Belichick does. Ryan is a tough coach but he is also a fun coach, a players coach, and players WANT to win for him because they like and respect him so much. Let's face it, NFL "men" are just kids and do they want football to be like work or do they want it to be more like play? I believe Rex Ryan makes it fun to play for him so his players want to give it their all and win for their head coach. He makes the game fun which is really what it's all about, the money and fame are just bonuses. Just my opinion anyway............

The Bills are definitely a team to watch out for. I wish Doug Marrone had just stayed there. I have no idea why he quit. Who quits an NFL head coaching job when you are still relatively young? I hate to say it but Rex Ryan was exactly the head coach they needed to take them to the next level. I wish we had fired Philbin last year and hired Rex. Oh well there is nothing that can be done about that now.

It will be very interesting to see what happens in their game with the Pats this week. I think the Bills are going to win. I am not totally convinced though that Tyrod Taylor is going to lead them to the playoffs. Teams will start to get a feel for him. I think the next 2 weeks are going to be very telling with what happens in the Bills Pats game and the Dolphins Bills game and I believe whoever wins our home opener next week will be 3-0 and in sole possession of first place in the division.

Its crucial that we at least get off to a 4-0 start and hopefully 6-0 because the schedule gets much tougher after that. We should be favored in all of our first 6 games. So if we win all of them then all we have to do is just go 5-5 the rest of the way to get to 11-5 and have a great chance to win the division.

I told Matt back in May, I think the Dolphins will sweep the Pats. They just don't match up well with us. On the other hand, our O line is our weakness and the Bills defensive front is one of the best if not the best. I am more afraid of the Bills than anyone else in our division.

I'm worried about Jacksonville and I'm terrified of Buffalo! It's hard to find any weakness on the Bills and their playing like a well oiled machine..

Bills Plus Rex is a dangerous combo! Call it swag but as many have mentioned if the Bills beat the Pats then their confidence level will be through the roof!

This is great. Air pumps!! HAHAHA

They’re planning on pumping up more than the volume at Ralph Wilson Stadium Sunday.According to Lauren Hall of WIVB in Buffalo, the Bills are tweaking the Patriots in perhaps the least subtle way possible, by selling air pumps in the team store.[tweet https://twitter.com/laurenhallnews4/status/644857940885794816%5DOf course, they won’t directly invoke #DeflateGate, as retail manager Jason Klein told [more]

Rex plays hard nose football, I want to kick their A$$ football, PHYSICAL football. Even when he had his crappy teams they still played hard for him. Philbins teams come out FLAT, DEAD, and are a FINESSE team. Say what you want, but Philbin does have good game plans and makes good adjustment MOST of the time but he couldn't INSPIRE a drunk teenager to run into a brick wall for 5 bucks and internet fame.(or would it be shame?)

The key to the Bills. Tyrod Taylor. This guy will not beat you with his arm. He was not a good passer in college and I do not believe he will be a good passer in the NFL.

The teams that beat the Bills this year will do it by forcing Tyrod to win the game.

Obviously the second part of that equation is stopping their run game and keeping your own QB upright long enough to score some points but still. The Bills most glaring weakness is QB that is what the Phins need to target and exploit in order to win
