We have no play makers at LB, that's the problem. Jenkins is the closets thing to it. Misi is solid, but no instincts. Shepard is average at best...I would put Vigil in ther and see what he can do.

Pick up Jameel McClain who was cut by the Giants. He led them in tackles last year. We don't need Pro Bowl caliber LB's but the LB play today was awful. I thought Suh was supposed to make them better. If we can't stop the run then we are going to be 6-10. Thats the whole reason for the optimism was that our defense was going to be dominant especially against the run. Hopefully today's performance was an anomaly.

I've heard our LBs get complimented for how they take on blockers. Isn't that what the D line is for so the LBs can come up and make tackles? Sheppard got yanked early and replaced by Vigil. He came up a little more aggressively but our guys in the middle sit back and get caught up in the wash way too often. Let's go with real LBs that are younger and can grow together. I foresee the day of Jenkins, Vigil and Hull.
