  • Brandon Albert Hopeful for Redskins

This would be great. We need this guy on the field and at a high level.

Branden Albert wants the world to know his surgically repaired right knee is fine. There’s limited swelling, nothing out of the norm, and he swears the limp we see was there before the injury…

I wouldn't push him to play.. Make sure he is good and ready when it comes to his injury.. These big guys need to be treated with a kid glove when it comes to injuries...Especially Albert..

But also not comfortable with Fox. Maybe we need to have a Double TE set with Left side exclusive extra blocker.
Just frolic and live in the now like Dolphins and Man's best friend.

I think we can do fine the first two weeks without him against the Skins and Jags but I would hope he's ready by week three where we'll be facing a D-line just as fierce as ours.
While it takes two to have an argument, it only takes one to walk away.

Albert is the key to the success of this offense, in my opinion. If he is being honest and his knee is feeling great and he is just in need of getting back his timing I think he should be okay to start this Sunday. Yes, he can work on his timing in practice but there is a huge leap from practice speed and game time speed. Playing "weaker" teams in the first few games is a great thing for Albert because he can get his timing back while gaining confidence that his knee is completely healed. He can say he is recovered from the knee injury but he won't be fully convinced of that until he gets a couple games in under his belt. Then, by game three against the Bills he should be back to full form against a really tough pass rush.
