With things souring in Washington, would you be willing to trade a 5th round pick to the Redskins for RG III? Lazor's offense fits what Griffin does best with the single RB backfield, the read option and the built in opportunity to move around behind the LOS and buy time to locate receivers downfield. I think it would be very interesting to see him execute this system even though I've never been a big fan of his. Honestly, can he really be worse than Moore has looked so far?

That's definitely an interesting thought, and I think he would be an upgrade over Moore, but it would effectively be a rental for just this year. His cap hit is over $4 million higher than Matt Moore's this year, which eats up half of your remaining cap space. He has a team option for next year, but that's at a $16.5 million hit. No way you can swing that alongside Suh's $28+ million hit next year without gutting the team. As thin as we are at offensive line and linebackers, I'm not sure I would want to give up a mid-round pick for a one-season rental on a backup. Things are going to be tight next year, and the rookie contract that comes along with a 5th rounder will be more valuable in the long run than RGIII would be this year.

I wouldn't be interested. I think he has terrible mechanics and too much of an ego to change them. Moore has always been a better game QB than practice QB. I think with our defense and Lamar Miller we would be okay with Moore at QB. Not as good as with Tannehill but okay and better than Griffin. I think Griffin is done in the NFL. I think he'll bounce around to a few teams and then be gone. Can we sign this guy?
