Potential pick ups

MLB Jameel McClain, He was the Giants leading tackler last year with 116 tackles 2.5 sacks and 1 forced fumble. He is only 30 years old so I would look to sign him as he would improve our depth at the very least.

OT Derek Sherrod, He was a first round pick in 2011 so he obviously has some potential and he is not old. Jason Fox is our only reliable backup OT so he would provide us with some depth.

K Nick Novak, If we want a proven veteran kicker. He has made 74 out of 83 FG attempts since 2011.

RB Jonas Gray, if we want more of a power back until Ajayi is ready to return.

Of those I would most like to see Sherrod. But overall none of them get me excited. Jim Mandich used to say on his radio show "Teams don't let go of good players" so I get a little skeptical when players are cut from other teams unless its a salary move.

McClain and Sherrod sound like they could provide much needed depth. Guys with some NFL experience. I would certainly take a look at them.

I like every player you mentioned! I think you read my mind. Aha The only player on my mental list that you left out is a QB. Cassel or Flynn. I have no idea why the Patriots don't like Gray because he did extremely well for them on the field. Maybe he has off the field issues?
