  • Love for Damien Williams

The guy catches the ball, runs hard. Seems to always make plays. James played well too but I think this number two spot is Williams. Makes you wonder what happens with the Jay Ajai. Any chance we keep them all? Special teams? With the way injuries go in the NFL you hate to let one of these guys go.

I cannot figure why Ajayi doesn't play??? He works in practice every day, then they sit him "injured" for the games, then he practices again the next day. Obviously he isn't really injured, I would like to see him in game action no matter how good he looks in practice. Have they already decided to keep him? Have they already decided to cut him? He is a rookie, I just cannot fathom they don't want to see him under game conditions. Stills in, Jennings out. There is something funny about this rotation I can't put my finger on. L. James should make it as a return man at least. Damien is winning me over with his all around effort. I think Ajayi could be special, but not on the bench,

Ajayi has a pulled hamstring they said during the game.

My guess is Ajayi will be red-shirted this year. They can't cut him and put him on the PS as someone will pick him up, but as someone on another forum said he may have a phantom injury that lands him on the IR this year. A habitual hamstring injury is hard to discredit.

If they redshirt him it would make sense. Hard to see them getting Williams, James and Ajayi on the roster any other way. And James and Williams have played too well to let go.

Yeah I agree. I can't see them keeping 4 backs. He could be placed on the IR designated to return list so they could use him later.

I can't make any prediction on Ajayi having not seen him play at all. His college tape is amazing, his stats overall in college were the best in the nation. I just can't see how the coaching staff can make a decision on him without any game time. Right now, I couldn't cut him, I couldn't redshirt him and I couldn't keep him. He needs some reps, a lot of them in game action.
