I see some things from a lot of these defenders that I didn't expect. All of these guys came to compete, Vigil again, even Lippett. These guys have some skills and are hungry!

Yeah he is. I think he's been one of the most underrated defenders in the league since we drafted him, but that could easily change this year, playing behind the best front four in the NFL.

I kept thinking that the LBs would really benefit from the defensive line, but so far he seems to be the one filling the gaps and blowing up runs.

I think he was slowed by that injury after his rookie year. But looks to be coming on strong now. Yeah I like it!

I think Jones is going to have a huge year. With Suh on the team now chewing up blockers and the depth at LB in question expect more two LB set with Jones playing in the box.

He is a really good tackler. He is not only hitting the gaps he is stopping runners in their tracks. Great to see this kind of sound play.

I just got to watch the replay tonight and I had to rewind on several plays because I couldn't believe it was Jones in the backfield that fast! And he wasn't creeping up on the line before the snap. He just waited for a split second and then shot the gap. Really inspired play. And it shows a level of confidence in the rest of the secondary if they're willing to play him that close to the line. This defense has a chance to be really special. Especially if the offense can give them some rest with some long drives and some leads to work with.
                Can we sign this guy?
