I believe it's time to shitcan Tannehill. Dallas BU QB Prescott makes Tannehill look like crap.

Tannehill was the lone shining light, IMO.

I was referring to Dolphin players...in fact Stills as well. Apparently Tunsil, but I was distracted.

I like what I see from Dak, for a 4th round rookie playing in preseason against scrubs. But this whole Dak for NFL MVP thing has gotten ridiculous. He hasn't played a single down in a real game against a real defense. Let's give him a year or two before we anoint him the next 1st ballot hall of fame QB. He has to make his first NFL roster as a backup!

Him and Stills, that's it. I was even disappointed with Juice tonight. Defense was abysmal.

We can't rely on Tannehill to carry this team. If we can't run the ball more effectively and our defense stinks then we are going to be a train wreck again like last year.

One guy shouldn't have to carry the team. We had Marino and he couldn't do it.....what ever would make you think Tannehill should be able to? We need a COACH and a TEAM. Offense, Defense and Special Teams. We need them to be good across the board, well lead and playing together.

Right now? We have a decent but not proven QB, Solid Receiving corps, good safeties, a returner, a kicker, a punter and a very reliable, but old and expensive long snapper.

Our OL is still a joke, our RBs can't do a thing (that may be on the OL, but you'd think occasionally they could make a play on their own), Our TEs are invisible, our DL is highly overrated and do nothing against an OL better than our train-wreck, our LBs are one of the worst units in the NFL and our CBs - well, they are probably worse than the LBs (I can't think of a team weaker there). This looks like a top 5 pick team to me.

Whoops. Yes Stills, and apparently Tunsil, though I was too busy sobbing to notice.

Our OL was such a joke, I don't know how you could tell any of them did a thing. I think traffic cones would have been as effective. Was Tunsil's man the one that was half a step later than the other defenders in creaming the QB or RB? If so, that makes him our best OL and based on tonight I'd give him a D-.

Rewatched the game... Albert and James were total disappointments. Tunsil was solid. Pouncey went thru motions. Bushrod did alright in pass pro considering this was his time starting at OG. Steen wasn't the trainwreck Douglas was last season at OC. Ajayi and Pead were running hard. Foster mailed it in.

Cameron's struggles with his hands continues. On the TD drop by Cameron, he had beaten the DB inside and had both hands raised as he crossed the goal line. The ball hits him directly in the hands at shoulder level. As he's bringing the ball down to his waist, the DB #31, grips his left shoulder and arm and tears at it. Cameron releases his left hand from the ball and the handle on it. He attempts to re-grip it with both hands but has dropped it at that point.

On the missed Landry TD, Landry simply wasn't looking for the ball. He has lost his balance and was looking down as the ball was approaching, then made a one handled grab at it. The pass and positioning were perfect though.

Was nice to see Stills show up. That 55 yard pass was nice. Not sure how Stills lost his balance after running 3 steps with the ball and going OOB.

Overall impression of the game was that the Cowboys were fired up and treating this like a playoff game and the Fins were going thru motions and treating it like what it really was in an exhibition game. Albert, Pouncey, Foster, Suh, Mario, and Maxwell all seemed to play at about 3/4 speed/effort. Andre Branch is BAD... Fede and McCain much better I think.

Let's hope Doughty plays much better in game 3 as he should get more reps this week and more play next game. At least his series should simmer some of the silliness.

Good report. spot on in my opinion. I just can't understand the lack of effort. I get it when the Pats mail in their preseason games and Brady doesn't want to play them. They are contenders and know it. Where does this group get that attitude from????
