  • Never heard of this before!

On Miami Sports radio WQAM this morning they reported that WR coach Sean Jefferson wanted to teach the unit to block better, so at 47 years old he put on the helmet and pads himself, and offered himself up as the blocking dummy!! That is taking it to another level.

It's a first IME... from reports he knocked Matt Hazel down and Hazel got pissed off and came up screaming at him. DVP, just ran thru him though. lol...

Hazel must have been embarrassed by a man twice his age. Jefferson was a 9th round pick, that would be UDDA today.
Just frolic and live in the now like Dolphins and Man's best friend.

Per Armando, this is something Jefferson used to do to the WRs in Detroit... helps teach then to hit Safeties or something.

went after some of his receivers in a contact drill.

"The whole point of that is an emphasis of tracking the safety, figuring out the angle [the receivers] have to take," Gase said. "Shawn is trying to emphasize the tempo they need to go at to take a guy out."

Hazel, by the way, got into a little jawing with his coach after their collision.
Coach J may have some patches o'houlihan in em... have to watch him to see if starts throwing wrenches at the receivers.

I like it. I hope it translates to the game.

By that, i'm assuming that you don't mean Jefferson having to suit up and play, lol....

Hope he doesn't have PTSD after the hit Zach put on him back in the day...

Yeah, I'd forgotten that Jefferson was a former Pat... Zach was at practice last week. Wonder if they talked... lol...

I remember when this happened. When he woke up he was asking for his high school coach. Zach knocked him back 10 years.
                Can we sign this guy?

One of the epic Dolphin hits of all time. Right up there with the Tony Bua special teams hit/block against the Rams.

I've heard everything. #Eagles K Caleb Sturgis is out w/ a concussion. He suffered it when a punt hit him in the head. In pregame

And in other news - Nolan Carroll with a pick 6 in tonight's game. Wished we kept him over Coyles pet, Jimmy Wilson. Also read that Jamar Taylor was looking good for the Browns... whatever that means. lol...

Was NEVER a Nolan Carroll fan, he was a bum when he was here..but it only stands to reason he'd end up being a solid starter elsewhere, it's par for the course.......
