I have completed dozens of fantasy football drafts. Most of those drafts were in 12 team leagues. In all these leagues I would say 90% plus of the team owners draft two quarterbacks. Ryan Tannehill has not been drafted in a single fantasy football draft. I know some people don't respect fantasy football and don't think it translates to "real football", but it does, especially at a position like quarterback. In a 12 team league where 20 quarterbacks are drafted and none of them are name Tannehill is quite telling as to how everyone other then some Dolphins fans feel about the Dolphins current starting quarterback.

It's kinda the way I like it! Much rather go to the super bowl with a game manager, a good run game, and a great defense. Kinda like the 72 Dolphins. As for FF, it's a whole different animal and I dont mind picking the pass happy QB.The happiness of the Dolphin is to exist.... Jacques Cousteau.

Who knows more the thousands of people around the country or Dolphins fans? His numbers are padded and the people who don't want 4,000 yards and 20 TD's are the ones drafting everyone but Tannehill , because the guy on their bench will have more TOUCHDOWNS, and close to the same yardage. You know, the QB's who actually score in the redbone and don't live for the Dink and Dunk.

Dan Marino would have been a great fantasy football QB, he won 0 Superbowls. Griese would have been an awful fantasy QB and he won 2 Superbowls. Question is, what do we want from a QB, fantasy numbers or wins?
Here is a good question, name the Dolphins top 10 all time Quarterbacks. Here are mine.
1. Marino
2. Griese
3. Tannehill
4. Woodley
5. Pennington
6. Morrall
7. Fiedler
8. Henne
9. Mitchell
10. Moore
H.M. Strock (never had 150 attempts in a season)
Get's pretty lame pretty fast. Only 15 QBs have had at least 150 pass attempts in a season. Some of those (Cleo Lemon, Joey Harrington, Gus Frerotte, A.J. Feely, Scott Mitchel, **** Wood) don't deserve consideration.
Tannehill could easily move up to #2 on my list before he is done, he will never be #1 or #4. He has already exceeded Woodley and already lost to Marino.
If Pennington had played for us for 5 years I might rate him higher than Ryan right now. Woodley played well until he broke his neck, never would set his feet again after that. Strock had to make my list even though he never had 150 attempts in a season because he was a great reliever and great mentor to Woodley and Marino.

He said, "Calm down would ya, you haven't even paid me yet."
Ryan Tannehill walks into a doctor's office and says "Doc, i'm not feeling well"
The Dr. says "You're sick"
Tannehill says "I want a second opinion"
The Dr. says "Okay, you stink as an NFL Quarterback as well!"
Tannehill: "I'm tellin' you, i get no respect............"

Strock got jobbed by Shula. Shula was hanging on to his antiquated way of coaching and missed out on a passing machine. Strock was waaay better than Tannehill but never got to shine. He saw the whole field, had touch and could make all the throws. Handle pressure? 1982, down 24-0. Playing Woodley over Strock was a sin. Thank God Shula realized the error in his ways when Marino came down the pike.

That's why I added Strock, I respect him. I do also remember though him and Woodley going back and forth "WoodStrock". Strock seemed to play better as a reliever than a starter. But I think he was instrumental in making Marino into the all time great he is. Keeping the kid's head straight and teaching him how to prepare and be a pro.
