  • Fins waive CB Ifo Ekpre Olomu

Guess this comes as no huge surprise but was hoping he was gonna make it all the way back from the devastating injury to contribute...

Yeah, that sucks... was rooting for him. He's struggled a lot though and just isn't the same on that knee. Hopefully, he got an education and saved some of his salary to get a start in life outside of football.

You ALWAYS root for guys like this, but as everyone knows life isn't fair and so oftentimes there is no fairy tale ending.......

Yep, sad but true. Hope he actually has some intellect and got that degree.

Saw that Pouncey finally finished his and graduated from UF this week.

@DP - agreed. He has to be the most over rated OC in the AFC.

@Tim - IMO, he gets by on his brother's name recognition. He's weak and struggles at the POA and his pressure and shotgun snaps suck. He is excellent at pulling and getting to the 2nd level though.

Funny how we take what the Browns release and give the Browns our 2 nd rounder for almost nothing hehehe.
The deeper the roots, the higher the reach.

Man just bad luck for the kid.. Tore the opposite ACL in practice last week. I think he was going to stick had that not happened.

Seems these days Pro Bowl recognition means absolutely nothing; Grimes made the Pro Bowl after spending the better part of most games on his back...IMO, Pouncey's a decent player but he's never made the leap to an upper echelon player like i thought he would (based on the old eyeball test & not faux awards like the Pro Bowl...JMO.)

Agree... alot of the selections are name recognition and nostalgia where people remember a guy either made a good play ''that time'', or they disliked the alternative selections...

Between him and Delmas two great people that just couldnt stay on the field.

yeah, Delmas was a stud when he was healthy; problem was it seemed like he was healthy about 25% of the time...

Bummer. Like Joe Rose always says, "In the NFL, durability is just as important ability." I E-O had some skills this team could have used.
