Yeah this is a little alarming. Especially considering how weak our corners are and the offense still couldn't do anything. Hopefully it's a sign of how good our defense is.Can we sign this guy?👍 1 -
I see many positives out of this. First, in training camps the defense always comes around first because you can play as individuals on Defense but the offense has to all be clicking. Second, our defense is better than our offense, we all know that. Most encouraging is Gase won't stand for it! He is going to hold the offense accountable for their lack of effort and "juice". GOOD! He should, how long has it been since you heard our head man call them out like that in public?👍 1Comment

I read this yesterday. The only "good news" is that it seems like Gase is always going to be all over these guys to make sure they give it their all every practice. I doubt the offensive unit was happy hearing or reading how terrible they practiced compared to the defense."If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking." - George S. Patton

"Offensively, there was no juice whatsover — it was like a walkthrough [practice]," Dolphins coach Adam Gase said with a tone of disgust after an intrasquad scrimmage.
Let's pause here to let you pick your jaw off the floor. A Dolphins coach actually talking straight and with emotion? It's been so long I've forgotten what that sounds like.
"It irritates me," Gase said of the offense. "You get to practice one time a day and you have a limited amount of practices and how many times are you going to be in pads?

Not good news by any means, but DVP has been out and we're just now getting the backs returning to practice. They've also been shuffling the OL at Tackle and OG while evaluating where they're at.
Saw a comment from Foerrester saying that had taken Dallas Thomas back to basics and was reteaching him fundamentals. I seriously expect Thomas to be 2nd string by the time RS starts.
Albert is always good when healthy. He has dropped 25 lbs this offseason to be lighter and faster - and hopefully to help stay healthy. Pouncey remains over rated and liability at the POA and in shotgun snaps. His forte is pulling and getting to the 2nd level. Still weak for an OC... wished we traded him years ago.
Dallas Thomas is treading water until the coaches are comfortable with Tunsil or Bushrod, who is still rehabbing but practicing, takes on the position. Turner has improved and haven't seen anything negative with him. James is struggling with both Wake and Williams, but that's to be expected.Douglas has all but disappeared and the rest of the 2nd and 3rd stringers are getting their lunch ate by our MUCH improved DL. Loving the Chris Jones signing and Jordan Phillips is starting to come on as well.
Hoping to get DVP back and to get more from the TEs by the time we face the Giants this coming Friday.👍 1Comment
