1st preseason game next week - Fri, Aug 12 - TONIGHT
Its nice that our 3rd preseason game in Orlando will be on NBC so we can get to see it. Don't they say its the third preseason game that the starters play the first half. So that will give us some idea of how the team is coming along.
Jills also have their #1 pick and #2 pick battling injuries. Lawson is coming off shoulder surgery and Ragland hurt his knee. If we can get some competence on the OL by the time we face them, I think we at least split the season with them.
I'd be pleased (and pleasantly surprised) if we split with them. I think we likely lose both. We have a better chance of splitting with the Cheatriots in my opinion.
Gentlemen, start your engines...One week from today!!!
Does anyone know how those of us not in the So. Florida area can watch our preseason games?? I used to pay $20 for the NFL Preseason Pass which allowed me to watch all of the preseason games on my computer, but they stopped doing that..I know that the NFLN tends to show taped preseason games, but has anyone figured out how to get them live..Little help, ANYONE????
Appreciate it cuch, it was cool when Gamepass offered the deal for every preseason game for $20 (That was every single preseason game you could stomach) but i guess they realized that was too good of a thing....
That's awesome 61 (you live near New York or are you taking a road trip) I remember years ago taking a road trip to see us play a game in Philly (Those days old Veteran's Stadium never sold out & you could always get tickets at the door) ...Right before the game we signed Ron Jaworski and the game sold out, had to buy tix off scalpers. Crazy!!
If we beat the teams we are supposed to beat and beat the Bills and Jets at least once each then we should be in the hunt for the postseason.
I'm just wondering what teams we're supposed to beat. At this point I don't know that we should beat anyone. Maybe as the season goes on and hopefully some things go our way, then we can say that. I think it's too early now.

Exactly. I'm pretty sure that every team on our schedule is looking at the game against us as a game they should win as well...
I'm thinking that we should have a really good idea by week 2 of what kind of a product we're gonna field this season, IMO if we don't either beat a Brady-less Pats team or at the very least, play them uber-competively 'til the final whistle, we could be in for a very long year!
I live ten miles away from giants stadium. Hardly ever go because it's the worst stadium I've been to.
Please tell me that it's not worse than old Veteran's Stadium in Philly, that place was out & out bad & the fans were the most hostile i've ever come across....I saw a game once at the old Municipal Stadium in Cleveland,, it felt like i was serving time in Alcatraz, but that place had history oozing out of its walls...
