  • Arian Foster - Jason Cole's Opinion

The Miami Dolphins signed running back Arian Foster to a one-year deal on Monday.

Was it a mistake for Foster to sign with the Dolphins? Will Foster's injury history prevent him from being successful in Miami?

Watch as Bleacher Report NFL Insider Jason Cole discusses the latest buzz on Foster in the video above.

In the video below Jason Cole explains that one general manager did not understand why Arian Foster picked the Miami Dolphins. He went on to say that he didn't understand why the Miami Dolphins picked Arian Foster. He explained that Foster has been injured in the last two games against the Dolphins, claiming that the heat and humidity is the reason and that Foster will basically reinjure himself once he gets on the field for home games in Miami.

What are your thoughts about Cole's opinions?

Or pity the young fool who has no clue about what he's talking about. Just throws shat against the wall to see what sticks. Jason Cole is not retired so no matter how to try to color it, this was a shot against you know who. You're no where near as clever as you think you are.

For those of you who want to talk FOOTBALL please share your comments here. I am curious about this humidity thing. I knew Foster got injured during a touchdown run against the Dolphins last season, in Miami. I was unaware that he was injured in a different game and different season while playing in Miami. Is Arian Foster the anti-Reggie Bush? (ie - Bush always got injured playing indoors because of the hard turf where Foster "might" get injured playing outdoors in the heat.)

P.S. What holds Cole's head up? He has no neck.

Jason Cole hasn't forgiven the Dolphins for the pain they caused him serving as a beat writer for the team. The humidity is the reason he got hurt both times against us? SMH. I can't even comment on the ridiculousness of that.
I guess following Cole's line of thinking, I'm hoping Ajayi changes his jersey back to his college #27 and allows Foster to continue wearing #23. If not, Foster may lose his mojo and be rendered ineffective.

Jason Cole I guess fails to realize that there is heat and humidity in Houston as well

                AHAHA!!

Yeah, Cole should check how humid it gets in the Texans INDOOR stadium. (NRG Stadium) If only he knew what he was talking about. Aha

Well so much for you not once, not twice, but at least THREE times saying you were going to ignore all my posts. Like I said, you are all hot air. You're like clock work, every 28 days you get a little irritable.

I'm not irritable at all. I am happy as can be. It's almost football season! :-) I WAS having a normal conversation about quarterbacks until you decided to abuse your power as per usual. Now you are ruining a SECOND thread with your abuse of power.

Have fun studying me and following me around this forum like a lost puppy

I know bud but what are we to do. I had no idea we have an ignore feature built into this forum or I'd have used it for him a very long time ago. I know he's probably part of the reason you don't come around much anymore as well as a dozen other posters. It's a shame that some people may mature in years but their brain never matures along with their bodies.

Sure humidity may affect his joints but that's like complaining about the rain. Oh no I'm getting wet!!! I might slip!!! Just play!!!

I'm only happy if Foster is used as pass catchier out of the backfield, don't want him to split carries with Ajayi (just when he needs a breather) I said before and I still think if Ajayi gets the Rock and stays healthy he will be a 1000 yd back

At his age maybe it would be a good thing for him to be used as a 3rd down specialist on passing downs. Maybe Cole is wrong and Arian Foster is more like Reggie Bush who's body doesn't agree with being slammed down on fake grass that's hard as cement and will hold up better on grass. Only time will tell but I've always thought Foster was an amazing running back and if he can stay healthy the Dolphins should be looking really good. We didn't get to see much of Ajayi last season but what I did see I was really impressed. This could be really interesting.

If he never gets a touch at all I still feel his veteran leadership alone is worth what we're paying him.

My thought as well. We have a RB room with 1st and 2nd year players after we cut the fat. Having a guy like that working with Ajayi and Drake can only help. Having that leadership in the locker room can only help.
