When will things fall our way? Finally we get a starting linebacker and Cornerback in a trade that lands us a no1 pick in Tunsil. Talk about 3 birds with one stone! A QB guru as our head coach and athletes actually want to come here. Finally the Stars are lining up.The happiness of the Dolphin is to exist.... Jacques Cousteau.

I would say the wild cards are Tannehill and Jordan. If Dion Jordan doesn't play like a first round draft pick then there is no way the linebackers are something to give any fan optimism. Tannehill needs to turn that corner in a big way or else he is out, possibly in mid season in my opinion. I don't think Gase will allow him to start the entire season unless he proves he can do everything that is asked of him. Let's hope he figures it out in year five and turns this thing around."If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking." - George S. Patton
“The only thing worse then a liar is a liar that’s also a hypocrite!” - Tennessee Williams

Sitting here having my first cup of coffee this morning, staring out the window, scrolling over to my Dolphins page when suddenly it hits me. Camp opens at the end of this week. My God, it's almost here. Wow. Football season is back. It's the first day of the week in which camp opens. So in my book, that makes the return official.
I want to thank everyone on this forum for never really letting Dolphins season end. You guys are amazing in supplying so many ideas and possibilities and keeping us all up to date with the latest news, stats, information, humorous entertainment and the occasional reality check. Though we may not see eye to eye at times, ultimately, we are all here for the same reason. We are all dysfunctional human beings. Not really. We want to see the Dolphins win. And I'm proud to be a part of this regular assembly.
It's the best time for the forum because our collective focus shifts from what could be and what should be and what isn't and what didn't happen to what is. Optimism , once again, abounds. May our strengths become stronger and our weaknesses become our strengths. We're all optimists by nature. Otherwise none of us would be here. Branden Albert vs Olivier Vernon, August 12.

Agree with Beasley on points 1 and 2 and 4.
Instead of token comments on Tannehill and Suh, he should have mentioned our rebuilt secondary and DL. Tannehill will be fine as long as the OL is improved and Suh was never a problem. The secondary and lack of DL talent around Suh was.
Coaching, OL, LBs, and the rebuilt Secondary and DL are the real 5 reasons for optimism IMO.
We lost OV, but for what the Giants (over) paid him alone, we got IAQ, Mario Williams, Andre Branch, Jason Jones, and Chris Jones in FA.
