  • Arian Foster signs 1 Year Deal with Miami

We expected this, but it is now definite.

The Miami Dolphins weren't kidding about their interest in Arian Foster. Ian Rapoport reports that Miami signed the former Texans star running back to a contract.

I'll take it. It's either boom or bust.

Awesome! Great signing!! Intelligent to have a player like him signed.

Perhaps if we use him in a limited capacity he can stay healthy.

This is kinda like limiting the amount of time you drive your car because you are worried about breaking down. The Dolphins have a few players that fit into this category.....

Same thing we did with Lamar Miller... kept him to less than 16-17 carries a game to keep his shoulders healthy.

Always good to have a winner and veteran on the team!
Just frolic and live in the now like Dolphins and Man's best friend.

Great point my friend. I've been saying the same thing. Even if he doesn't play a down we are better with him in the locker room and the film room with our young RB's.

The fact that we signed Foster to a 1 year deal was a great move. Ajajyi is unproven and Drake is not a feature back and is injury prone. Maybe this will be one of the bigger steals of free agency if he can stay healthy he could be a force especially if our o-line is improved which it should be. I like our stable of backs now with Foster and Ajajyi being the primary ball carriers and Drake and Williams as pass catching weapons. Drake could even be our special teams return specialist.

Has anybody heard if Leon Hall has been signed? Aside from depth in certain areas my biggest concern is our secondary. We could use a corner like Hall who has experience in VJ's scheme.

If we sign Hall them my Christmas list is complete! I think we will be contenders with this group!

I like the move. We needed a veteran back to round out the team. If by some miracle he regains his form than it is huge. If not, we are not our that much. Small risk.

LOL, I've actually had to do that at least until I could afford to get it fixed.

Been on vacation, but was glad to see we made this move. Still irked about resigning Daniel Thomas. Signing Foster eases concerns with this group. Hope ALL the backs stay healthy and Ajayi, Foster, and Drake give us the best RB rotation we've had since Ronnie and RIcky we here over a decade ago.

This could spell the end of Thomas or Williams. I'd be pretty happy about that

Yeah, in that case dump Thomas. Williams is younger and has more promise IMO.

I think you are right, but you know what? Open the field and let them all compete! The best 3 have a job. My money is on an Ajayi / Foster rotation.
