  • Bonnie Mandich

    Bonnie Lee Mandich, the wife of the late Jim Mandich, who was a star tight end for the Miami Dolphins dynasty teams of the 1970s and later was a longtime announcer for the team and beloved South Florida radio personality, died on  Monday. Mrs. Mandich, who was born in Spring Lake N.J.
    Can we sign this guy?

    Kudos to wives of the NFL before the big money. They endured a hell of a lot including Bonnie. Back then concussions, dislocations. Severe sprains! Missing tooth and even broken bones, add to that internal hemorrhage were all considered scratches and bruises. You were suppose to drink a Fosters beer and get back in the game. The Wives had to deal with the mending and wld mood swings of these over testosterabid caveman. God bless Bonnie and all the wives of the early NFL. R.I.P.

        I don't know anything about her either but Mando was always one of my favorites.
