All:

I want to take a minute to apologize to the members here for the low level of participation over the past few months by myself, PhinTm Menace and FinFan in KC. Those who don't know we are all brothers and worked to launch this site and moderate it. Sadly, we lost one of our other brothers back in April and it was devastating for all of us. All in all we are 8 brothers and the one we lost, my brother Pat, was the middle child and was between PhinTim and KC in the order of age. He was unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare disease and plummeted quickly and then we lost him. He was only 55 years old and was also a huge Dolphins fan. We miss him and always will. The months that followed allowed us to grieve and spend time together, and we just really didn't take the time to be on here as we had been. Now that some time has come we are back in the loop and looking forward to this coming training camp, preseason, and season. I have to take the time to thank our awesome Mods and all of our members for keeping things active and going. You guys are golden and we appreciate the time and effort you spend here. Thank you is not enough, but we offer you our sincere thanks.
So with that out of the way, let's get back to Miami Dolphins football.

This really sucks to hear...To Matt and your whole family, i just want to offer my heartfelt and deepest condolences on your loss..nothing quite hits home like the loss of a family member...Just another reminder that football is pretty infinitesimal in the grand scheme of things!

Matt, Thoughts and Prayers to you and your family, I know how hard it is to lose a close family member and as it has already been stated, none of you have anything to apologize for. I've noticed that you guys seemed to be among the missing but figured it was just because this time of year is usually the quietest time for Football and thought nothing more on it. If there is anything we can do forum wise, please let us know.

Matt, PhinTm Menace and FinFan in KC, you all have my sincerest condolences. I am so sad to hear this sad news. My prayers are with all of you in your time of need. The Miami Dolphins are an afterthought and what you guys have been dealing with is real life, important matters and football is just a game.
