  • Over-under 2016

Seems that most people are quite disillusioned with this franchise,
When I look back on the past decade, I see that we had SOME talent, but I also see that we have been UNMOTIVATED for a LONG, LONG time,
I however, am once again feeling my homerism, and have just bet a grand on the over 7 wins for us...

The Miami Dolphins have high expectations for the 2016 season, but oddsmakers aren’t as optimistic. Bovada, an online betting site, has set the Dolphins’ over-under at seven wins for th…

I don't see us winning more than six.

Sobe hasn't even been on the Finheaven forum either. I'd also bet above 7.

I really don't know what to expect from the Dolphins this season. I could see us winning anywhere from 5 to 9 games.

Thing is, no one has a clue what this team is gonna look like or how they're gonna respond..I mean basically we're talking a whole new staff, new systems and a huge upheaval of the roster..It could go anywhere from unbelievably good (Every true Fin diehard is thinking 'yeah right, what're the chances of that??!!!) to shitty as ever...I'm just anxious to see what the product we put on the field looks like,, but in my gut i'm thinking we're gonna suck this year & be closer to competing next season...

It may seem like an obvious statement to make because it applies to all teams but in my opinion it applies to certain teams more then others. For the Dolphins to be successful this season they have to stay healthy at almost all their key positions. Aside from WR and DE I don't think they have any depth at all. When you couple that with the fact that there is a new coaching staff, a staff that seems comfortable going into the season with two rookie running backs and a few below average players worries me. I hope they sign a veteran RB sometime before the season starts. ( Yes, I am referring to Ajayi as a rookie since he's not proved himself in a starting role yet)

Injuries and health will of course play a major role especially for us since we don't have much quality depth. How Tannehill takes to Gase's new offense will be another huge factor. I think our offense should be better since we have improved our o-line with the addition of Tunsil and if Albert stays healthy and if Caroo was worth trading future draft picks for and if Parker plays like the first round pick that he was and we get Cameron more involved in the offense and Ajajyi runs hard and with Drake as another weapon we have all the pieces for the makings of a potent offense. The biggest area of concern on defense is our comers. Maxwell was not good last year in Philly although he was not playing in a scheme suited to his talents. I am also nervous about Howard starting as a rookie and I am also concerned about our secondary depth. I really hope we can sign Hall or Culliver to give us another veteran corner and improve our depth. If we get a motivated Mario Williams and a healthy Cameron Wake there is no reason why we should not have a dominant defensive line with Suh in the middle. Our starting LB's must stay healthy especially Kiko Alonso. MLB and our inability to stop the run last year was our biggest downfall on defense so to me we have to have a healthy Kiko Alonso if our defense is to go to another level.

With a whole number (7), do you get a push and your money back if it lands on 7?
