A Dion Jordan sighting perhaps...Seems he was spotted working out, getting into football shape & ready to make his bid for comeback player of the year! The rare footage is being thoroughly studied by experts to determine whether this is real or just another hoax...

We need this guy and we need this guy to play OLB and do what he's always done, not the Miami way of taking a player and make him something he's not....Miami has forgot about covering the TE's for the last 3 decades, this guy can do it....and instead Miami makes him a DE...wonder why we're at the bottom of the division....

In this day and age it would seem that IF what Jordan's agent was saying were true and they actually believed in him that there would be WAY more photos and even a VIDEO of him working out and proving he is in FOOTBALL SHAPE. Everyone and their dog has a camera and video camera on their person at all times these days. So, where are the photo's? Where are the the videos?
The ONE picture that I saw was of Jordan "working out" was nothing but a black and white photo, where Jordan is way over to the left-hand side of the photo, as if this picture wasn't taken for Jordan's benefit but to promote the gym and their logo. The gym's logo was the prime focus of this photo in my opinion."If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking." - George S. Patton

My question is, why is he "nearing a comeback" ?!? What has he been doing all this time off? He isn't coming off injury or anything. This 'was' an elite athlete who has had over a year off to workout out and BE in football shape. SO, again, why is he nearing a comeback and not making a comeback? He should be in better shape then any of the Dolphins players right now because there hasn't been anything stopping him from working out and training to stay in football shape. I think everyone on this board, if they had his money and had a shot of being reinstated to be an NFL player on a certain date, would be in the best shape of their lives PRIOR to that date. Why isn't he in shape right now?
I think that he hasn't applied to re-enter the NFL yet because he has done "something" recently that he needs to get out of his system prior to applying. It's the only thing that makes sense to me why he hasn't applied already, that he is NOT clean right now and would fail a drug test if given one right this second. I hope I am wrong but I just don't understand why he hasn't applied yet and why the people in his corner are making it out to be a big surprise that he is in shape.Last edited by DolphinsFreak; 05-05-2016, 01:29 PM."If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking." - George S. This is the 2nd time a Sports Training Facility has posted stuff about DJ working out and getting back into playing shape. The last time was in February from Bommarito Performance Systems in Miami.
And I don't for a second believe that the team hasn't keep tabs on DJ, or knows anything about his status. We're short on DEs and just dumped an OLB/DE.
While I I expect to sign an older vet, I also expect to see DJ back with the team by end of June and working out as an OLB.

The team knows what is going on, they just don't want to put it out there for some reason. But the fact that his trainer and agent both went on social media talking the guy up would suggest he is in good shape (why would this gym jepordize their reputation by saying a guy is ripped when he isn't) and close to reinstatement.
I do believe people will be disappointed in the position he plays, because I think this coaching staff also sees him as a DE and not a OLB. He'd be a OLB in a 3-4 defense but don't see it in a 4-3 unless he drops some weight. JMHOThe Dynamic Duo ! - BOOM! POW!

Can probably thank the Brownstains for that... they are currently being sued for releasing publicly all the info around Josh Gordon's suspensions and re-instatement proceedings. The team will stay mum on DJ for now until the league makes a decision and informs the Fins as to whether he can come back or not.
