  • Leon Hall

If the Dolphins want to make a play for Hall they better hurry. The Giants are interested in signing him.

We need him more than the Giants. They signed Janoris Jenkins and drafted Eli Apple. We should sign either Hall or Culliver. Cullver would probably come cheaper and we could probably sign him to a 1 year deal.

I would pass on Hall....he hasn't even fully recovered from his back surgery...one bad hit and he's on your IR for the rest of the year...if anything an incentive ridden contract looks like an ideal choice

Slauson I agree with you, but I would also sign Rolle - I know DP has been saying that for years

If he's healthy, I'd still bring Hall in for depth and possible rotation play.

I know the back surgery reportedly went well and that he's had 2 Achilles tendon injuries over the past few seasons, but he's still a savvy DB and the younger guys could glean some things from him.

He left the Giants without a contract.

As for Rolle, he's also old and oft injured. I'd like him for depth as well.

Read that he's now headed to Atlanta for a visit...I'm all for bringing in Hall if healthy and if the price is right..If he's holding out for the bigger bucks i'll take a pass...

              Who would you rather have

              Hall or Culiver?

my vote would be Culiver...Although Hall does have experience in VJ D....we need some bite....

Kind of a toss up to me because while i think Hall is the better player overall, he's 31 y.o., injured & seems to be holding out for a bigger final paycheck than he's probably worth at this point..Culliver might have more upside being that he's younger, but trouble seems to follow that guy around, he's coming off a torn ACL & MCL and not sure what he'd bring to a young locker room with a brand new HC...

Not sure either of these guys are the answer, but it seems like to me if Joseph was keen on Hall we'd have signed him by now...

Joseph's familiarity with Hall and vs versa still weighs in Hall's favor.

Culliver is a Dbag. I hate bad locker room guys and people that make themselves needless distractions.
