Obviously this is all for fun & EVERYTHING will change between now & then,, but i do expect us to be picking in the top 10 (Maybe even top 5) and if we go RB, i have to be all-in on Fournette! Subject to change, of course....
It would be nice if we had one Nole on the team...For what it's worth I wouldn't be upset with Fournette, or Chubbs either. I am partial to Cook, but with or without being a Nole he is a special type of back.
I don't expect to have a to 10 pick next year, so gonna be a moot point. I am expecting to be picking in the 20's...

Yeah, Cook is awesome...Crazy to think we don't have a single 'Nole on the team, there's definitely been some great ones - One of our problems is that it seems that we ignore the talent in our own backyard...
Picking in the 20's?? You thinking we'll trade down, huh?? Or do you really expect a complete overhaul of players & personnel & a brutal schedule is gonna result in a HUGE improvement over this past season...I'd be very surprised under the best case scenario if we pick no lower than 10-12...

Hope sprigs eternal...I have to give them a few games before I become a Debbie Downer.
New staff, new attitude and seems like the FO and the staff are working together for a change. I like what they have done so far to address the team. You can't fix everything at once, but I think they have done a good job. It will be interesting to see what cut veterans if any they pick up. As much as we all beat on Tannehill, he is still the second best QB in the division and it looks like he may have a good O Line, plenty of weapons and a creative offensive coach.
My feeling is just the change in the staff is worth another 7 points a game (4 on offense and saving 3 on defense). I know most of the fans don't believe it, but there is a lot of talent on this team. I see no reason they can't compete for a wild card. Hell, with Brady out for 4 games (one against us) anything could happen in the division.
I am hoping my optimism last until at least November this year.
Yeah, I expect the Dolphins to be drafting high next season as well. I don't think it's being pessimistic, I think it's being realistic. It's like going into a movie. If you go into a movie with high expectations, you can be really let down even if the movie is good. If you go in with low expectations if the movie is okay you will be happy. It was like when I watched The Interrn last night. Low expectations. The movie was more entertaining then I thought. The same applies to the Dolphins season. If I go into the season thinking they are going to win10 games I will be angry when they don't. If I go in thinking they will win 4-7 games I won't be angry when it happens, and if they happen to win more I will be happily surprised.
I wish Tannehill much success this season because in my opinion this is his team and his season to either shine or be cut.

Agree... most roster changes across the board we've done in a long time and there does seem to be a unified vision for the team to improve the OL, the passing D, and special teams.
Would be nice if we had an OL that ranked above ''abysmal'' for a change. I think the highest ours has ranked under Philbin was 27th. It's been 31st and 32 the past 2 seasons.
I'm still expecting a the offense to start slow given the changes, the new offense being installed, the learning curve, and the schedule, but I think we'll pick it up and start to roll by game 4. Pats fans are predicting they'll beat us without Brady. Hoping we take that one and start no worse that 1-1.
Is it October already?

Thinking about getting this printed on a Fins jersey where the number would normally go..That would be freakin' HILARIOUS! Only problem is it would go against my vow to never again buy anything Fin related 'til they get their shit together!!
