A-, B+, B-,B+ looks good to me! Plus theywere picking absolute BPA which is why the haul on the O. Maybe there was a predominantly more run on D so value lay in the O side. All in all I'm happy.

The grades are nice, but outside of Tunsil, they were not picking BPA. lol...

I don't think most people are upset with the actual guys selected, just how they were selected, the order, the compensation surrendered needlessly, and that we passed on so many quality LBs and RBs. We did make a play for Myles Jack and lost out, but there were others as well that we could have had.

I think we'll either address MLB in next year's FA or draft.

You nailed it. I think the guys we took are intriguing for the most part (I still would have taken Alexander WAAAY before Howard). The players highlights show they could be really good. Maybe even special in some cases. What I TOTALLY LOATHE is we ignored quality and depth at LB, DE and DT to stock up at positions we already had adequately covered.

Tunsil I think we're all okay with. OL was a problem and he has potential Pro-Bowl talent.

Howard some like. He'll start (he has to) - but I don't like this pick at all. Loses the WR, loses the ball, commits penalties. We'll love him just like we did Jamar Taylor.

Drake has a great highlight reel - but he's injury prone and we already see him as a backup, change of pace guy. Not what I want in the 3rd when we have such significant holes on the defense.

Carroo has real breakout potential, but we traded 3 picks for the guy at a position we were fine at. WR was what I thought we needed least on the roster.

Grant looks really exciting. I'm really pulling for him to be special. Realistically speaking, he's a 5'5 WR who is a bit player at best. Might make the roster as a KR, but the odds are crazy against a guy that small making it and staying in the league. We traded up for him of course!

Lucas was at least at a position of need. He might make the 53, but more likely PS for a little bit. Meh pick but at least he wasn't a WR.

Doughty was a total throw away pick - and we TRADED UP to make it throwing away a CB that got 6 starts last year in the process. I guess they wanted to get on to the post draft party instead of having to keep working. He won't challenge Tannehill or even Moore. He'll be in a 3 horse race to make the practice squad - and with his physical limitations come in 3rd.

Duarte was a ludicrous pick. A tweener at TWO positions where we didn't need help. I like his athleticism, but this was stupid. Did an intern from UCLA make this while the rest of the Front Office was away partying? Will be on the PS until he's waived early in the season.

Yeah, i liked that we made a move up for Myles Jack and in true Dolphin form, just fell short..Gotta give 'em props for trying! Man, if we could've landed Jack (Tunsil & Jack @ 1 & 2) it would've changed the whole complexion of this draft..You'd probably only have 95% of us complaining rather than 99, lol...

Btw, speaking of Jack, i'm envious as hell of the Jags..Jalen Ramsey falls into their laps @ 5, then they nab Jack in Rd. 2...I'm starting to think they're building something special down there in Jax............

I have to agree with the Myles Jack pick. I would have totally been on board with trading up for a guy that has difference maker and superstar potential. Typically, we lost out - but I do respect that they put effort into this. What they did after they failed is what I don't like...

I do admit that we could have hit it out of the ball park. Even if true about Xavien being taken before we pick, there was Alexander for the taking. If your coaching staff is as good as they say then coach him up or use the players strengths. Then we would have had our 4th and Drake there. 3rd would have been Lemonye Caroo anyway. But at least no next years draft.

Right or wrong, you can admire them for being decisive about exactly WHO they wanted... at least Gase won't be able to pull a Saban and claim that he failed cause we didn't draft exactly who he wanted. lol...

Yes - and considering how many draft picks we gave up to get him, if he isn't a pro-bowler we can definitely call it "A Series of Unfortunate Events"

Okay so we lost 3/4 in next years draft. The 4 is the lowest such as compensatorie pick but according to a prominent source we will not be getting a 4 but a 3 and a 5 when calculations are tallied. Which means we lose our regular 3 and regular 4. Hope we are playoff bound next year otherwise trade down if we have top 15 pick to get back what we lost.

You know you've had a bad draft when you're already talking about next years draft & what you can do to try and get picks back that you just threw away!
