        Round 1 - CB - Byron Maxwell
        Round 1 - LB - Kiko Alonso

Round 2 - DE Noah Spence
        Round 3 - CB - Kendall Fuller

You add DE Mario Williams, S Issa Abdul-Quddus, DB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu to that list and it's hard to find any wholes in the Dolphins game.

You missed our 2nd 3rd round pick, WR, Leonte Carroo...

Yes, much better from our POV... but again, the thing that got me was that they traded UP for Howard to get ahead of the Bears, who they assumed would take Howard there. Regardless, they should have stood pat and waited for Howard, or have taken Sean Davis, who is very similar. Hope Howard is as special as they've made him out to be.

Overall, Kenyan Drake is the one pick that I hated most. That's the one where the wheels came off the draft. And the 4th and 5th round fk ups were just atrocious. I guess the 2nd 3rd round pick made up for a 4th or 5th rounder...

Well there you have it........ Pretty easy to understand that this FO fell a little short in the 2016 draft..... Send this thread to Mr, Magoo AKA Ross....

Ross is to blame for the draft? The guy HIRES "experts" to handle football decisions, there just seems to be a shortage of omnipotent "gurus" out there... If Howard kicks ass, this draft will take on new "light"... Until we see the team they have built actually on the field, it's gonna be tough to actually discuss the "value" of any of these picks (and the non-picks)

If we just used our original picks with no trade ups or downs we could have had this draft.

R1. DB William Jackson - I am still worried that Tunsil will let us down and become another Josh Gordon.

R2. OT Jason Spriggs - He takes over at LT and Albert moves to LG.

R3. DE Shilque Calhoun - We need another pass rusher

            R4. RB Kenneth Dixon

            R5. LB Kentrell Brothers

            R6. DB Kevon Seymour

            R7. FS Jalen Mills

            R7. WR Charone Peake

Here is another possible draft we could have had.

              R1. OG/OT Laremy Tunsil

              R2. DB Xavien Howard

              R3. RB CJ Procise

              R4. DT Hassan Ridgeway

              R5. LB Kentrell Brothers

              R6. OG Sebastian Tretola

              R7. FS Jalen Mills

              R7. WR Keyarris Garrett

Yeah, but your aunt can't grow balls, but the draft I posted could have happened with no problem whatsoever. The players were there for the drafting, they just apparently were not regarded as highly by the Dolphins front office as they were to me and many others on this forum.

yes, I understand and said the same thing draft night. We could have joined the other 2 clubs and not moved an inch and had a good draft, arguably a better draft IMHO,and IYHO. Just being a goof and sayin that we cant change nothing...it is what it is. Oh, and you have not met my aunt....I wouldn't put it past her to grow a pair.

I read somewhere that they considered this a poor LB draft and didn't think Brothers was any better than the talent we already had on the roster. Considering that he tested very poorly at the Combine and didn't get drafted until the bottom of the 5th, and went to the Vikes, who drafted him for depth, I'd say most teams agreed.

Next year is supposed to be a better QB, RB, and LB draft.

I think there were a few top end LB's that were very good in this draft, but the overall class was weak IMO. Same with RB and QB. Next years draft class should be much better. Next years RB class may be the best class we have seen in a long time. I wouldn't be shocked if 4 RB's go in round one next year.

Yeah, that jives with what I've seen and read as well.

I still expect to see us pick up another vet RB before the season starts. Arian Foster is still out there and while he is no longer a viable option on his own, would be a nice compliment for a few carries a game. Has to be better than Daniel Thomas regardless. lol...

Another option would have been to look for a team that was willing to trade up for Tunsil. I think the Colts might have done it since they are desperate for o-line help. Then we would have received their #18 pick and the #82 pick in the draft. Then we could have done this.

R1. DB William Jackson - I would have a lot more confidence in him starting over Xavien Howard.

R2. OT Jason Spriggs - Perhaps the most athletic o-lineman in this draft. We move Albert to LG for his final year with the Dolphins.

R3. DE Shilque Calhoun - Great value pick and with Wake being 34 and coming of ACL surgery this is a great pick for the present and future.

R3. QB Connor Cook - Yes I roll the dice and a take QB with a lot of upside. I have my doubts that Tannehill will ever be better than what he has already shown.

R4. DT Hassan Ridgeway - He is simply too good to pass up at this stage of the draft and he makes Earl Mitchell expendable.

R5. RB Paul Perkins - He would fit in nicely as a complement to Ajayi.

R6. OG Sebastian Tretola - We draft an OG who probably should have been taken in the 4th round.

R7. LB Tyler Matakevich - Some LB depth since we already have our starters. He was considered a 4th round prospect.

R7. WR Keyarris Garrett - I don't know how he went undrafted but he is big fast and productive.

How some early 2017 draft mocks? lol...

Oh I'm not obsessing about it anymore, I just do it for fun. I think this will be the last mock redraft I do for this year.

Was just kidding with you, but some early predictions and a pre-2016 season, 2017 Mock Draft could be fun.
