How do they determine compensary picks and why do the Patriots have about 10 of them? Every year they have Aton but this year they seem to have more then usual. Is it makeup picks for taking awa their 1st rounder, that they would have traded away anyway?

Nobody knows how they're determined, i believe i read somewhere that it was a theorum developed by Paul Tagliabue,, or maybe it was Paul Reubens (better known as Pee Wee Herman)...
The second part of the question is easier to answer; before every year the Patriots are given either 10 compensatory picks or a free pass on cheating, they took the compensatory package this season, and they got caught cheating..Without their free pass they lost their 1st rounder and Brady was suspended for 4 games but they do get to keep all of their comp. picks...

Exactly, but I read where Miami is expecting to get a 3rd and a 4th next year.

New England Patriots
CB Tarell Brown
WR Brandon Gibson
RB Steven Jackson
LB Jerod Mayo (announced retirement)
LB Dekoda Watson
C Ryan Wendell
Why on earth should the Patriots be handed draft picks for losing the above players? Some of these guys are just one year players. They shouldn't get a draft pick for losing Jackdon or Gibson. This year they signed Nate Washington WR, Chris Hogan WR and Donald Brown RB. So why are they getting compensatory picks?"If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking." - George S. You know as well as anyone that the League had to make it up to the Pats somehow for taking away their 1st round pick and fining them over deflategate.

Yes, I figured a makeup action by the commish would be coming but they already received 10 picks in 2016, now Roger and the gang are going to keep doing it? Why the owners around the league aren't complaining about this baffles me.
P.S. Captain America was pretty good. I saw it last night. I found it weird that it was a Captain America movie since it seemed more like an Avengers movie to me. Aside from Hulk and Thor everyone was in this movie. I really liked it!

Cool. I took PTO so I can see it Monday afternoon. Everyone has raved about it. Better than Winter Soldier?
Like the BvS movie, they are using these to introduce more characters and have spin-offs to make more $$$$$$$$$$$$$

That's a tough call for me. I really liked Winter Soilder so that one is hard to beat. You would think with all these characters that Civil War would win hands down but I am just not sure I like it better, but it is close. You're going to really like it.
