  • Late picks and UDFA

Late or UDFA's I like out there still

Scooby Wright - LB (man crush)
    BJ Goodson - LB
Darius Jackson RB (really like him, hard running, bruiser type of back)
    Blake Martinez - LB
    Tyler Matakevich - LB
    Josh Forrest - LB
Reggie Northrup LB ( OK, maybe only because he's a Nole...LOL)
Terrance Smith LB ( and not just because he's a Nole)
    Dillon Lee - LB
    Anthony Zettel - DE
    Stephen Waetherly - DE
    Deon Bush - FS
    Tyvis Powell - FS
    Jayron Kearse - SS
    Rashard Robinson - CB
    Kevon Seymour - CB
    Jack Allen - C
    Landon Truner - G
    Kevin Hogan - QB
    Nate Sudfeld - QB
    Jake Coker - QB

Goodson is already gone. Wright or Martinez in the 5th would be good choices. Other players I like are Anthony Zettel, Stepehen Weatherly, Tyvis Powell, Kevon Seymour and Nate Sudfeld.

      Ahhh, missed Goodson

Thought I heard the Phins showed some interest in Coker, late rd pick?

That I am not sure of. I like him as a developmental guy.

My hope is that we take Blake Martinez in the 5th round. Nate Sudfeld and Stepehn Weatherly in the 7th round.

The Bengals just took DT Andrew Billings. He would have been a nice run stuffing DT especially since we struggle to stop the run.

Has Kentrell Brothers been drafted yet?

No but the Packers just took Blake Martinez. Brothers would be an excellent pick if he is still there in the 5th round.

Damn - I liked Martinez a lot. Still hoping a miracle happens and Scooby Wright falls to us (without us trading away 6 picks for him).

Scoot Wright, Dixon, Vadal Alexander and Christian Westerman are all still in the board.

We should all know better than hope the Dolphins select a player that makes sense for us when we will ultimately draft a player that nobody heard of who was supposed to be taken in the 7th round or an UDFA.

And, give up the rest of next years draft to get that unknown player

It gets worse. The Dolphins had Scooby Wright and Kentrell Brothers on the board and they traded away their pick to the PATRIOTS! Watch as they take one of these players.

It appears that we traded away our 5th round pick and now we have 2 6th round picks. Just watch there will be a good player available with that 5th round pick we traded away and we will end up with nobodys with those 6th round picks.

Hearing we traded with the Pats, our 147th pick for their 196th, 204th, and 250th.

That's exactly what I said in my other group. Do not like trading with the Pats. You just know with that pick they are gonna grab someone we wanted.

Why would you do that... your better off staying put at this point because it's like drafting UDFA any way's.....Idiots!

Can pretty much kiss all the guys we wanted goodbye, I doubt any will still be there when we finally pick again.

            • #12
yeah - because we don't need a talented player - we're fine with long shot camp bodies. This FO might be the worst ever. We dropped 50 picks? For 7ths? Threw away a shot at Scooby Wright. I am so sick of this....

LMFAO - the Pats got a 4th out of it. Chess vs. Checkers vs. Blocks.

In a poor, super-thin draft where there's not a lot of meat on the bone,, we trade away our higher picks and are now trading for more late round picks??? We are truly as dumb as they come!!!

Like i said before, with some teams especially the Ravens, they are playing chess when it comes to the draft and the Dolphins are playing checkers.

I don't think this front office qualifies for checkers. They're playing with blocks.
