Connor Cook to the Raiders

Hey DF, your boy Connor Cook was just selected by the Raiders. I know you wanted the Dolphins to select him. I would have even considered taking him with our 3rd round pick especially if we could have traded down since we took Kenyan Drake who was a major reach in the 3rd round.

Joshua Perry to the Chargers, he was one of my favorites to take in the 3rd round.

Its always a good idea to keep your 4th round pick especially if its a high pick like ours was because there are always players that unexpectedly drop into the 4th round like Connor Cook and Joshua Perry and thats when you can pounce and look to trade up and at this stage of the draft that would only cost you a 6th or 7th round pick.

I will admit I was watching closely in the 3rd round hoping that someone in the draft room would have the guts to get some real competition for Tannehill. To make matters worse Cook went to a team I despise! I would say I can still hope that the Dolphins draft my other QB, Brandon Allen, but I think they traded away all their picks. Pathetic.

IMO, the pats got the best Day 2 QB in Brissett. I was hoping we'd take him in 5th or 6th.

Cowboys just took Dak Prescott, another good prospect.

I like Nate Sudfeld, Kevin Hogan and Brandon Allen if we draft a QB late.

I follow Miami and Arkansas football. Allen is Jeckyll and Hyde. Fans set his truck on fire a couple seasons ago they were so frustrated with him. He always looks like he's about to cry. lol...

There were people wanting Doughty badly. He's a local kid that tore it up in his college conference and set all sorts of records. Who knows? He may be the next Brady Wilson... he's the same size as Jared Goff and ton more productive and accurate. I like the pick.
