Tannehill 3 tackles, Ellerbe 2 tackles.

            Next question,

How many Dolphin Defenders Started all 16 games in 2014?

How many Dolphins Offensive players started all 16 games last year?

Bonus points, how many of those players are still on the team this year?

There is a point too. Before we judge too harshly last year's 8-8 record, it was an injury plagued season on a team that's talent pool wasn't that deep. I really like the talent we have acquired in the last 2 years. But the cupboard was pretty bare. So we had very little depth last year and needed everyone to contribute. Between multiple key injuries and some "star players" (Wallace) that just never delivered we did well to come out at 8-8. Now we are deeper, upgraded and discarded some of our rejects. All looks like reason for optimism to me. Answers to the quiz tomorrow night.

Defense, 3 players started and played all 16 games. Grimes, Odrick, Wake.

Offense, 6 players started and played all 16 games. Tannehill, Miller, Wallace, Hartline, J. James, Satele.

Out of these 9 players, only 5 are still on the team today. So when we compare "last years" team to "this years team", are we talking just about these 5 players? Fact is, these 5 are fine, what happens with the other 48 will make or break our team. Guys developing, stepping up, new guys taking the challenge. It always surprises me how many players turn over in the NFL. If you look at rosters from 5 years ago you won't find many names still around.
