R1. DB Eli Apple - I have a feeling that Hargreaves Elliott and Lawson are going to be gone. Maybe there is a chance Lawson will be there and if he is then I would take him but I don't think he will be so if we can't trade down then we fill our most pressing need with a player who will be a perfect fit for our scheme.

R2. DE Emmanuel Ogbah - Its iffy that he will be available as I have seen some mocks that have him being taken at the end of the first round but some have him available until the middle of the 2nd round. I just feel like with a 33 year old Cam Wake and a 31 year old Mario Williams we need an infusion of youth at the position.

R3. OG Christian Westerman - I think he would start immediately on our o-line.

R4. RB Alex Collins - We take one of the more underrated backs in the draft.

R5. LB Blake Martinez - We need some LB depth.

R6. WR Jordan Payton - I think he would be a nice replacement for Matthews since he is similar in size and skill set.

R7. FS Jordan Lucas - Some depth and competition for the secondary.

R7. QB Jacob Coker - Developmental QB.

Nice! 1/2 can be interchangeable since we may pick Lawson. In that case Burns at 2.

I like that draft in the event that Buckner and Lawson are not there in round 1. It would be very solid.

I'd probably take Jacoby Brissett over Coker though.

You have to be a true believer to take Henry at #25. I don't see him being as productive here behind our OL where he's going to have to make something happen on his own before he can build up speed. We could probably get Drake in the 3rd or 4th.

Getting both Dodd and Willy J in the 2nd would be a major coup, but I doubt we're interested in WJ. Dodd would be a nice consolation prize to Lawson, NKemdiche, or Ogbah.

I like Brissett as a QB sleeper as well, but in the 5th.

Are you moving the OTs to OGs?

If Henry can't be productive no one will, Plus, I see Henry going to seattle in the 1st so #25 makes sense.. Dodd and WJ would be Rotational starters day one and Brissett would be breathing down RT's neck and possibly a future starter for Miami.. As for the 2 Olinemen, yes, they both can play all positions excluding Center... Henry is going to be the next Lynch, R'williams, and J.Bettis all in one... He's a steal at #25. Plus, I like Dodd better than both nkemdiche and Ogbah...

Final Update: I'm confident the Miami Dolphins 1st round pick will be Myles Jack, Ezekiel Elliott, William Jackson III or Reggie Ragland.



Matty runs Phinsider... Jack, then Elliott depending on who's there, but hard to see WJ over Ragland. I'm not a Ragland fan, but I have him ranked over WJ.

Again, WJ faced no one in college and wouldn't even be in the conversation at #13 if not for his 40 time.

Will be interesting if both Jack and Elliott are gone and we take Jackson over Ragland. Not feeling it...

I think Hargreaves might drop to us. It would be great if the 49ers take Lynch since that would drop everyone another spot. I think Jack goes in the top 10. Elliott could drop to us since the RB position has been devalued. I am not a fan of taking Jackson or Ragland at #13.

Sportscenter just had a mock draft show and they had the Dolphins selecting Vernon Hargreaves at #13.
