  • If Hargreaves Elliott and Lawson are gone

I think its certainly possible that could be the case. Hargreaves and Elliott are likely to be top 10 picks. I have even seen Lawson mocked as high as #11 to the Bears. So if they are all gone then I would look to trade down. I think a good trade down partner would be the Redskins who might want to trade up for Sheldon Rankins or Reggie Ragland. So we would get their #21 pick their #84 pick and their 3rd round pick next year. Then we could do this.

R1. DB Eli Apple - I think this is about where he should be drafted and he would be a perfect fit for our secondary.

R2. Lets hope that Emmanuel Ogbah doesn't get drafted in the first round. Then I would look to trade up with the Browns from #42 to #32. That would cost us our 4th and 6th round picks. Its not a deep DE class so I would make this trade up for Ogbah. I think the combination of Apple and Ogbah is about as good as the combination of Lawson and Burns.

R3. LB Joshua Perry - He should be able to start right away at ILB which would allow Alonso to move to OLB.

R3. OG Christian Westerman - I think he should be able to start right away also.

R5. RB Paul Perkins - A shifty runner who should be a nice change of pace back behind Ajayi.

    R7. LB De'Vontrae Campbell

    R7. FS Deon Bush

I like your draft. However, I just can't see any team trading up in the draft, and giving up three draft picks to do so, unless they need a quarterback that is still on the board or if a top ten player falls to #13 that they covet. Other than one of those scenarios playing out, I don't see any team parting with draft picks to move up to #13. Rankings and Ragland should be good players at the next level but I don't think teams are viewing either player as if they are so good they are worthy of multiple draft picks. JMO
