Schedule out Thursday 14th 8pm. Finz Up

  • #2
We've got three west coast games,, it'll be interesting to see if the schedule makers lump at least two of 'em together so the team can just stay over instead of having to take 3 separate 6,000 mile round-tripper's or if they're gonna just shit all over us as they normally do!

Every year I think the Dolphins get a pretty horrible schedule but this year is beyond ridiculous.

Let me get this straight..................The 4-12 MIAMI DOLPHINS have to start out their season by flying as far West as possible to play the 10-6 Seattle Seahawks....................THEN.............right after that game they have to fly all the way across the country almost as far East as possible to play the 12-4 Patriots ?? To to off this rough beginning of the season, Roger and his Pals have the Dolphins ending the season playing TWO of their division rivals at their stadiums when it is their coldest.................THEN the Patriots get to come to Miami to play them when Miami is at its coldest, which goes in the Patriots favor. Wow! Beating the Patriots last season really got to Roger and his Pals so they made sure it would be hard to do again this season huh.

We knew this was going to be a tough schedule no matter how it was broken down based on having to play the AFC North and the NFC West. We had the weak AFC South and NFC East last year and all we managed was to go 2-2 against each of them and a pathetic 1-5 in our own division. Now our schedule gets much tougher this year. At least the rest of our division has an even tougher schedule than us since we get last place Cleveland and San Diego.

If we don't toughen up against our own division then this season could get embarrassing since I don't see many games that we will even be favored to win. At least the bye week comes in the middle of the season. I don't understand the 4 consecutive home games in the middle of the season. Then we have the Jets and Bills on the road in December in consecutive weeks. They should have swapped home dates against one of those teams.

After cleveland we have a short week to play the bengals too..looks bad for us. Once again they took away our hone field sdvantage of the heat in Sept.😡

Dafuq is up with this BS schedule. No home Prime Time games either. Fkrs. And all 1 pm home games, then we finish with 3 of 4 at home in December.

So we start out 1-1 and finish 5-2 by the BYE.

Seattle won't have Lynch, and their OL is as bad as ours. Going to come down to defense and what Gase can do. Pats should be without Brady in game two... unless Brady suspension gets suspended.

                Prediction - 9-7.

Yeah it sucks we don't get any home prime time games and all home games are at 1pm. We actually don't have 3 of our final 4 at home. We host the Cardinals then we are on the road to the Jets and Bills then host the Patriots.

I hate the 4 consecutive home games since what are the odds that we will win all 4 of them? The home dates against either the Jets or Bills should have been swapped.

Its a brutal schedule and 4-12 would not shock me. I could also see 9-7 and being in the wildcard hunt as a possibility. It will all depend on our draft and if Gase can get Tannehill to improve.

I'm less worried about Tannehill improving than I am the OL improving and having quality RBs apart from Ajaya.

NFL Network reported that we asked the NFL to have us start our first 2 games on the road because of the stadium renovations. At least we get our 2 toughest games of the year out of the way early and if we somehow manage to steal one of them then we would be in great shape.

At least the bye week isn't in the 1st 4 weeks like it usually is.

Yes. I liked that as well. It's usually way to soon in the season to be of much benefit to us.

No Monday night or Sunday night games. Only one Thursday night game and it's at the Bengals. One Saturday game at the Jesters. WTF? This just F'ing sucks.

We don't deserve prime time games fellas. We have been mild to severe embarrassments at night and I'm fine with that. Prove you are worthy of watching and we'll be right back as a featured team. It may take years.

My question is 'Why would they put this team on Primetime??!!!' I mean, we as diehard fans can barely stomach watching them, do we really think the rest of the football world who has no vested interest in this team wants to be subjected to it?

We are way past being a draw to the average fan and when we've been given primetime games in our recent past (i'm being kind here), we've more often than not shit the bed...Speaking of beds, we've made it..now we're forced to lie in it..Things will only change when/if ever this team changes, does a complete 180 and once again becomes competitive...
