I don't mind in the slot but can't imagine him being 1or 2.
Just frolic and live in the now like Dolphins and Man's best friend.

He's 95% healthy and the Browns let him go... Hahaha stupid! Bring him in! Have you seen our secondary lately!..

There must be a reason why the Browns released him.

It might have to do with their front office making sure that they continue the Browns winning tradition and keep up on all of their Super Bowl appearances.

Because the browns are worse on building a team than the Dolphins.. Not by much though..

Moneyball and analytics. They got people running the organization that are total geeks and got their cue playing Dungeons and Dragons.

It probably has more to do with him not recovering from the injury he sustained after the 2014 season before their Bowl game.

ACL is a common injury, plus he only 22. Before the injury he was a top 15 in 2014 draft.. I would bring him in ... It might of been an off field incident .. He's almost at 100% recovery..

i have no problem with bringing him in, we need all the help we can get, i just wouldn't get my hopes up since other teams just don't release players for no good reason.

The Browns released him after taking a low-risk/high-reward flier on him last year when they weren't happy with the results of a recent MRI on the knee (Who knows what other reasons they might have had; new regime = new players, didn't think he fit into their plans of the new scheme they plan on running, maybe just got tired of waiting on him,, my point is it could be lots of reasons..)..IMO that doesn't mean every team should just take the Browns results as gospel and not do their own due diligence if interested...

I remember once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away our medical staff deemed Daunte Culpepper the healthier between him & Drew Brees; their thinking Brees shoulder would never recover enough to play at a high level again; how'd them results work out for us??

I copied & pasted my comment from Vaider's thread on the same subject:

PFT is now reporting that Ekpre-Olumo feels great (able to dunk a basketball again and routinely working out with NFL-caliber players) and will get his knee re-examined again soon..The Browns didn't feel comfortable with the way the knee looked during a recent MRI however & chose to part ways.

I would definitely bring him in for a look and to schedule a workout when he's ready,, if he's anywhere near to what he was before his injury, signing him could be a steal at a huge position of need..

Was be playing B ball with David Garrard? ;-)

If he's able to go, there is nothing to lose in bringing him in on a 1 season deal and going from there.

What, in the pool?? Even i can dunk on one of those things (it's close though) I'm not advocating we sign the guy, but i'd damn sure be first in line to check him out, it's not like we have quality Corner's coming out the ol' wazoo, lol...

This is one of the Dolphins biggest hang ups... they wait to long to pull the trigger and they miss out..... one of the biggest position of need in this years draft and a 22 year old who would of been top 15 pick in 2014 just drops in your lap but you're to busy s$#king Off Ross to know better.... They're no better than the Browns.... YAY!

I think the case is often that the players agent is playing us off another team and leveraging our offers to get more money from another team than what we're offering.

Cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu will try to make his first on-field appearance in the NFL with the Dolphins.

The Saints, Bills and Steelers all put waiver claims in on him too so there was a lot of interest in Ekpre-Olomu.

I liked Boykin as the competition for McCain in the slot but I personally think if his knees hold up, we aren't losing outmuch in getting Olomu.

Speaking of the Browns, thought they did Whitner dirty by holding on to him 'til FA had pretty much run its course & everyone had spent their money, then releasing him. ****-move!

The move wasn't cool but it wasn't smart either. That move only saved the Brown about 500K. Aha Wow! That was worth it. Dolphins should see if 2.5 - 3 million could get him to sign.
