  • Dolphins Bring Back Spencer Paysinger

This is the time of year when veteran free agents come cheap, and teams will try to hang onto known commodities.

That happened in Miami today, as the Dolphins re-signed linebacker Spencer Paysinger, via his Twitter account.

Paysinger’s primarily a special teamer, but gives the Dolphins some experienced depth behind a group including recently acquired middle linebacker Kiko Alonso.

Paysinger signed with Miami last offseason after spending his first four years with the Giants. He started 10 games for the Giants in 2013, but has settled into a reserve role otherwise.

Still a good cheap veteran pickup. If Hewitt becomes the real deal with Alonso plus having Misi, Jenkins and Paysinger we will not choose a MLB till the 4th in my mind. CB,OG,RB takes precedence.
